Chapter 14: My Secret Power

  Before the first day, my dad took me to Mystic Academy. I got a tour(ahead of everyone else), plus i got my schedule aswell. Another thing I did,
was visit the orb. My dad and superman talked a little bit away from the orb. Me, not knowing what is was, went near the orb and put my hands on it. I saw the image of the waves crashing at a beach, and a rain drop appearing.

  My dad and superman saw what I was doing, and ran over. "Maroon, " My dad asked, looking at the orb, the rain drop still there. "Did you touch the orb? " "Yeah.." "Maroon.. That orb grants you powers. People who we're born with a power, get one from the orb." Superman said, smiling. "It seems you have the water ability. A rare power. " I smiled, looking at the orb.

  I told Katelyn the story, and made the water in a glass nearby become the shape of a heart. "Wow. And you haven't told anyone but me?" Yeah.. I plan on telling my best friend Taylor soon, though." "Cool. "

  Olivia started crying loudly. "I'll go take care of Liv. You text your friend, ok?" I nodded, Katelyn ruffling my hair. "Love you, Mar." "Love you two Katie." "And I looove yoooou too! " Katelyn said, going over to the crying Olivia.

Me: Hey Tay?

Tay💙: Hey Maroon, what's up?

Me: I have something to tell you.

Tay💙: Go ahead. I'm free.

Me: I went to Mystic Academy the day before the first day of school with my dad.

Tay💙: Cool!

Me: I went to the orb, not knowing what it was at the time. I got water, apparently. I thought you should know, anyway.

Tay💙: Really?

Me: Yeah.

Tay💙: That's so cool! We have the same power!

Me: Yeah. It means we could train together.

Tay💙: Sounds fun! We could start after school, or even during the break!

Me: Totally! How about we meet it a few days? I'll come over your house, if you want.

Tay💙: Ok! I'll ask my parents. I'm sure they'll let you come though.

Me: Ok. Cya then

Tay💙: ok bye!

Me: Bye
