Chapter 15: Light it up

It was the first day back. I'm gonna miss Olivia a lot, though. I never had a baby sibling before.. so this is pretty new.. and exciting. Something happened on the bus, and it all slipped my mind.

The bus shook suddenly, the window shattering, glass all over everyone- and the seats. Harmony screamed in the back, falling out of the bus. "What the-" The wall next to me ripped open, sucking me outside into the sky. I looked up, parts off the bus flying through the air, people being sucked out and thrown into the sky. I knew it. Someone was back.. The Green Goblin.

I looked up and saw Taylor flying out of the bus, swooping down and catching Tyler. She held one of his hands, looking around while hovering in mid-air. Harmony was the closet to the ground, though, me being a close second. "ALLEN! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?" Harmony asked, shouting. 

"I Dunno.." I said, my head still wrapped around the feeling of being pulled out of the bus by the violent wind. 

"OH- SO YOU DON'T KNOW?" "No.." "OH- USELESS." She shouted, crossing her arms. "I HOPE SOMEONE SAVES ME BEFORE I HIT THE GROUND! I DON'T WANT TO BE A PANCAKE!" 

"Neither do I. Also stop screaming. I'm right next to you." 

"Oh, yeah." In a few seconds, Benji came swooping down. The pets have the same power as their hero, by the way."

"Thanks, Benji. Don't forget about Harmony though." Taylor flew down, flooding my seat and letting me free. She pulled me up, while Benji pulled harmony up, and we flew to the academy. "Ugh! Tell this mutt to let go!" Harmony complained. 

"Thanks, Tay." I said.

"TAYLOR! MAROON! LOOK AT MYSTIC ACADEMY!" Everyone screamed, pointing towards the school. We came up and.. my nightmares came true. The Academy, along with the dorms, were in flames. The flames licked the windows, though, not burning them. Tears formed in my eyes, but i bit my lip to hold them back. I really hate the coppery taste of blood.. Taylor saw a phone that had survived, and picked it up. She turned on a video.

"I took your precious school, and the lives of many students." Said a raspy, high-pitched voice. The Green Goblin. "I have them here with.. Hmm.. who's this?" The phone the Green Goblin was holding was turned around, showing people.

"The Allens.. Not fast enough I see, eh Barry?" There was a familiar cry- Olivia. 

"He has Liv..." I bit my lip harder, the copper taste becoming stronger. 

"Here with me I also have the Lighs, The Joker, Harley Quinn, the Maximoffs, the Parkers, minus you are your brother, Cedric, Colin, Trent, and everyone else. I also have every. Single. Hero in the world. Also every villain, except one. Oh lookie here.. your papa.. Time is running out for him. Oh Peter Parker, you only have three weeks to live. What a shame." Taylor glared at the screen.

"Taylor.. you have got to help us.. all of us.. he'll destroy us without your help..-" The green goblin slammed his fist into his face, blood trickling down from his mouth.

"Taylor dear, there is another way. A better way. Give me your heart, and I will return everything to you."

"I would never do that, you filthy scum." Taylor said, and spat at the screen. The Green Goblin simply chuckled.

"Well this will be fun, I got to go though. You made the wrong choice, dear. You may be the strongest out of all of them, but you still won't stand a chance against me. FOR I! AM! THE GREEN GOBLIN!" The Green Goblin laughed loudly, and insanely, ending the call. Taylor threw the phone into the flames of the burning school.

"Guys.. We have to do something.. He has everyone one we care and love, and the power to destroy the world." Taylor said, looking at the flames. Everyone went silent. "We may not be supers.." Taylor said, making a fist. 

"But we are strong.. and I have hope. Hope is a powerful thing. I know we can do this, but we have to do it together.. who's with me?" She put her hand in, everyone staring at her for her courage. See, this is why I have a crush on her. Also she's really sweet..

I smiled. I put my hand in, followed by Magic putting his talon in. Next was Benji's paw, then Nix's hand, and her wolf's paw. Haily and her monkey's hands. Issac's hand, and McTwisp's paw. Tyler smiled, putting his hand in, followed by Falcon's talon. Harmony looked away, but put her hand in anyway.
