Chapter 8: Happy Birthday

  In the car, Zip blindfolded me. "Just wait." He told me. So, I decided to wait.

  When my blindfold was lifted, we were in the ar- oh, I get it. They took me to me, Taylor, and Tyler's birthday party. Oooh. 

  "Surprise!" Katelyn, Payton, and Zip said smiling. "Wait-" Zip said, looking around. "It's both our birthdays- and this was a surprise-" "Yeah," Katelyn said, smirking, "Forgot to mention that. Oops." Zippy frowned. "There's my two birthday boys!" My mom said, running over and almost squeezing us to death. "Mom- I need- my organs to live-" Zip complained, then our mom let us go. Our dad came in too, not hugging us as hard. Our mom gave us our cards, where our 'tickets would be stored'. Much easier then just taking 500 tickets around. She then gave us the same set of rules. 'Don't accept candy from strangers, don't hurt each other- you remember lats time, don't get into a fight, be respectful, clean up after yourself, and if you get a girlfriend- tell me.' Zip and I rolled out eyes, running out into the arcade.

  I met Carter at the pacman machine, Colin and Cedric standing with him. "Alright, boys, let's do this." Carter inserted a coin, and the game came to life- figuratively I mean. I was pacman, Carter being a red ghost. Cedric was the green ghost, Colin being the purple one. We played until I died for the second time. I had 5,838,093 points, and two deaths. "Not bad, Mar." Carter said, playfully punching my shoulder. "Good job, Maroon!" Colin said, smiling. Cedric just smiled. "I'll get you again next time, Maroon." Colin and Carter ran off to play another game, Cedric going to a claw machine. 

  I looked over and saw Taylor going to a claw machine, with rubber ducks with different designs to grab. Harmony was near her, and smirked. She ran over to the machine, and shoved Taylor out of the way. I quickly ran over, catching Taylor before she hit the floor. "Aww, look! Taylor's boyfriend is here to help her!" Harmony said, smirking. My face turned a light shade of red. "See! he is her boyfriend!" Taylor growled, staring at Harmony. "Why?" "I got here first, Parker. Deal with it." "No, you didn't." I said, staring at Harmony. "Oh! What a good boyfriend you are!" "I'm no one's boyfriend- at least not right now. Also i'm sick and tired of you being mean to Taylor. Back off or I swear, i'll take you out myself!" "You aren't going to do anything, Allen." "There is something I can do, Harmony." "And what's that?" "Embarrass you.""What could you possibl-"September 5th, 2011."Harmony's eyes widened. "Don't you dare, Allen!-" 

  "It was the school field trip to the aquarium. Harmony, of course, was wearing a light red skirt and a red shirt with a pink purple heart on it. Her hair was above her shoulders, and she had a red headband on. The permission slip said specifically to NOT wear any red. At the time, there was a shark we called Hank, who had the tendency to attack whomever wore the color red. But Harmony, loving red at the time, ignored the rules and wore mostly red. A few minutes in, we passe by Hank's tank. Harmony pressed her face against the glass, watching a dolphin swim by. Unfortunately, Hank had been eyeing Harmony from a far. Hank rushed at the glass, thankfully not breaking it, but clearly trying to get through the glass. Harmony screamed as loud as she could, running to her mom. She was covered in sweat, crying. The class stopped and looked at her, and started laughing. From then on, Harmony never wore red again. That's the most embarrassing I've seen happen to her, though." Harmony rolled her eyes, turning on her heel and walking off. 

  "Thanks Maroon." Taylor said, brushing herself off. "No prob bob." I said, walking off. 

I played kinect 4 with Taylor, and lost. Yet another game I suck at. But I mean- I played with Tyler and won later so.. I mean i'm ok at it. 

  Nix got a wolf plush and Haily got a blow up hammer, of course. Issac got candy. Taylor got a giant mudkip, and Tyler got a treeko. I think i'm sensing a pattern here? And I got a Steven Universe funko pop. After that me and Zip hugged mom, dad, Katelyn and Payton goodbye, heading to the lobby with everyone else. We call it the lounge now though, it being like a lounge. I sat down with Zip at one couch,which we don't get to do very often, Tyler and Taylor sitting at another. I sat down and put my presents on the table in front of me. Five to be exact. I opened the first, it being a Weasley plushy. Weasley is my favorite book series, being about a boy. The boy who won actually. When James Weasley was 5, he was faced by the evil Doreumble. James was quick to act, grabbing his father's wand from his dead body. James was lucky, casting the repeat spell. This left a scar on Doreumble's face, as well as a grudge- lasting until his death. The second was a pack of Moon & Solar pokemon cards. Third was a rubix cube. Fourth was the whole eight Weasley movies! The last was loads of birthday cards from my family from out of state. 

Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter! I'll be trying to match Mixie's Superstruck schedule by updating on Tuesdays and Fridays. If I don't make it Tuesday, expect it during the week or two chapters on Friday. And If I don't make it on Friday, expect it Saturday or Sunday. Saturday is the more likely day though.
