I'm currently a garden gnome standing somewhere in Boston. How do I know this, you may ask? When you turn into a stone statue, it's like dying. Your soul gets separated from your body, but you just stay on earth. You aren't really dead.

Downside is, no one can here you. Its like your dead, but your not. I'll be saying that a lot, so no need to remember it.

So I was sitting around in this coffee shop, right? Even though I didn't like coffee. This guy comes in and basically sits on me. I complain, but again, no one can here me. "Can't catch a break, can I?" I muttered, getting up and walking out.

I walked down the road, bored and lonely. People were walking through me, and it really made me think I was a ghost. "I doubt anyone else became a statue. It'd suck for them, but I wouldn't be lonely," I muttered to myself, finally deciding to run. I sped past my house, which didn't take long to get to, and kept going.

I finally stopped at Taylor's house. She probably can't here me, but where was I even going to go? I stepped through the door, looking around. No one was in the kitchen. The microwave door was open, and a cutting board with bits of lettuce on it was out. Must've been a emergency- couldn't imagine what.

"Mrs. Parker must've been in the middle of making a sandwich," I scanned the counter. There was bread, a tomato cut in half, and a jar of mayonnaise. "By the looks of it, emergency must've been really urgent. But what could it have been.." My eyes fell on her phone. Again, another reason there was a urgent emergency. She had just sent a text:

Peter: Mary, are you home??

Me: Yes, Peter, what's the matter??

Peter: Exron, you know about him, right?

Me: No, Peter, no idea.

Peter: He can turned people to stone and stuff.. anyway, he apparently near the house when both of us weren't home. It was just Taylor and Emma. He was there with Thanos- Exron cut off Taylor's left hand, she's got a silver one now, I thought you would like to see her.

That was were the conversation ended. She must've dropped everything, and headed to the hospital or wherever they took Taylor. Then I got worried. "Taylor's hand got cut off.. what the heck am I doing here?" Reality punched me in the face. That's right, I was a stone statue in Boston, and I couldn't go see here even if I wanted to.

I sighed, and sat down on the last step of the staircase. "I've been alone, but I've never felt this lonely.." I saw the door handle turn. The door opened and Carter, Passion, and Cedric walked in. "And you're sure you know about this spirit mumble-jumbo?" Cedric asked, looking around. "Yeah, I told him how to teleport using his mind, so I know about anything to do with getting from one place to another." Cedric nodded.

"Where is he, Carter?" Passion asked, looking up the stairs. Carter took a deep breath, which meant this needed a lot of concentration. "He's on the stairs.. hey, Mar." I looked up. "Hello?"

"I assume he knows i'm here so, I can help Mar. Ronnie's got Stallion's location. We're going to save you, ok? It takes a true love's kiss so.. we have to wait until Taylor gets back. Although, it may be awhile, we don't know how she feels. You might just be stuck as a stone statue." My heart sank.

"Don't worry though.. we'll save you either way, I promise." I sighed. "Passion, Ced, let's head out and grab his statue from the cheap budget Medusa, shall we?" The two nodded, and made their way out of the house. You might be thinking, why can't your mom kiss your cheek or something and you'll be fine?

No. True love's kiss is the only thing. Cheesy, I know, but it's just how it works. If Taylor still does love me, why'd she break up with me? Surely she would wait it out, right? I can't answer that. I'm not her, I don't know how she feels. But what I do know, is that Carter's words stuck with me.

"I promise."
