Me and Zeke arrived at the Super quarters, and Ronnie was there waiting for us. "I see you found the Soul gem, Maroon." I nodded, and Zeke showed it in his staff. Ronnie studied the staff. "I'm glad a demigod found it. It could have fallen into Charles's hands forever." I nodded.
"Zeke, has the team had any updates on Thanos's location?" Zeke gulped. "He's on Neptune. He's got a fourth of the planet so far. He.. he also struck a deal with Galactus." Ronnie stopped.
"Galactus? Destory of worlds?" "Yep.."
Ronnie sighed. "This is going to be worse then I Though. Humans are advancing, the Phoenix View was attacked the other day by two. They had.. staffs. Anyway back to Galactus. If this is true, that he and Thanos are on the same side, we need the strongest Supers."
Ronnie turned, and punched something into a computer. "The elementals. The Flash. Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Silver Surfer, Red Hulk, etc." "This isn't a piece of cake, is it?" "No, not really."
"What's the deal about anyway, Zeke?" I asked. "He said that if he didn't find any of the stones on a planet, it would be eaten. So far Mars and Venus are gone. So is a fourth of Neptune. There's also something else.."
Me and Ronnie turned. "And that is?" Ronnie asked. "Some.. people are betraying us. Becoming his allies in exchange for freedom. We've lost my dad already. Loki."
Ronnie sighed. "That's great, isn't it?" Jason, son of Star-Lord came in. "Hey guys." He said. "Hey, Jason."
"You guys have the Soul gem, right?" "Yeah.. why?" Jason whipped out a blaster. "Give it up, losers!" "Holy Christmas.. That was quick.." Zeke muttered. I dodged a blast that was aimed at my head.
Zeke pointed the staff at Jason, and started sucking his soul out of his body. I sighed. "Can you make it fun at least?" I complained as Jason's body faded away. Zeke shrugged. "It's quick and painless, really."
I sighed again.
"Anyway, we gotta move. Anyone could be with Thanos and Galactus." Ronnie said. We nodded, and vanished from the Super quarters.
We appeared in front of Starbucks, and went inside. "So what're we going to do? How many people need to be called?" Ronnie asked. "Lots." I said, finally deciding on getting green tea.
"What would you like, sir?" The lady asked. "Green tea, thanks." She nodded, and asked Ronnie and Zeke. Ronnie got a cake pop, and Zeke got a bagel. Nothing on it.
"Why just bread, Zeke?" I asked, watching him eat the bagel. "I.. don't like butter. They were out of cream cheese." "But this is Starbucks.. they have everything." Ronnie said, taking a bite out of his cake pop.
"All the time."
"I bet Galactus stole all the cream cheese.." Zeke muttered. Me and Ronnie smiled. Passion came through the door, running to our table. "Hey, Maroon." She said, sitting down. "Er- hey Passion."
I paused. "You.. have news don't you?" "Oh, no. I just brought Taylor here, everyone else is outside." Taylor entered the Starbucks.
"Hi, Maroon."
