Chapter 34: The Phoenix Rising

  "Maroon! We could have used you!" My smile turned into a frown.

  "Sorry, Tay. I was-"

  "It's alright. We almost got fried out there though." Issac and another girl nodded. Hey- who is that anyway? Taylor grabbed AJ by the ear and dragged him upstairs. I thought for a second, and vanished from the room. I reappeared upstairs.

  'Hold on..' I thought. 'How the heck did I-' The door knob started to turn, and I thought about the room downstairs. I vanished from upstairs, and appeared in the same spot as before.

  "I swear he can't teleport.. He's my little brother, you ought to know..-" "He's here." "Oh." Payton coughed. Taylor and AJ came back down the stairs

  "Parkers, Issac, And some Allens- are you ready to fight?" Mr. Parker (I would call him Peter..) asked.

  "YEAH!" We all chanted in response

  So a little update. We picked up Haily.. Nix wasn't there.. and so on.

  We all ran into the Joke House and saw no one. Absolutely.. No one. That's not a good sign. As if on cue, villains ran up to us. Boomerang (his son is worse), Venom (Thankfully he doesn't have kids..), and Ultron (Stupid.. robot thing..). All the Parkers went for Venom, me, Katelyn, and Payton (along with Carter) went for Boomerang, and Issac went for Ultron.

  Now that I think about it.. The Parkers have a better chance of winning..

  I vanished, along with Payton. The Boomerang paused. "Eh? Where's the other two? There's supposed to be two more of you..-" As if on cue, me and Payton appeared behind the Boomerang, and punched him in the head. He fell forward, going unconscious.

  "Nice one, guys." Carter said, kicking the Boomerang's side for good measure. He didn't respond.

  Taylor shot water at venom, which clearly.. wasn't strong enough. I went over to help along with Anthony, and who i'm assuming are Taylor's new siblings.

  We took out Venom, and looked at Issac. Taylor's mom ran in front of Ultron. Ultron fired from his mouth, and was turned to ashes. We all did a hit on Ultron, who was now a lifeless case of metal on the floor. "MOM!" Taylor screamed. The whole Parker family was crying.

  Carter sniffed.

  "Why're you sniffling? You never knew her." Carter sniffed again. "These things are just so sad.."

  Taylor looked up, and a video started playing on a billboard.

  "Relax people." Charles said. "Don't worry. I have your precious mother here." He turned the camera, and showed their mom. He moved along, showing the elementals, Zoe, Martin, Leslie, Snowy, Flare, and the Summers twins.

  But no Walt.. huh. He's gotten good. Charles smirked, turning the camera to all the superheroes and villains. It's the Green Goblin all over again.. "This time, you will fail. The Green Goblin was foolish, but I have to give him a bit of credit. I'm much stronger. And I will torture you all. I will make you suffer.. and no take you all at once. I'm smarter than that. I won't kill your family. I'm not a monster. I will instead torture them, which will torture you. I will take what you love. One by one.. Be ready Parkers, Allens, and Maximoffs." He said.

  This wasn't good..

  "You- won't get my family though! I swear if Dustin and Miles tried to be Batman.." "No, I won't. Because I already have them."

  In the background a fimilar voice should

  "BABE, WHERE SHOULD I PUT THE ALLENS?" "In the cell next to the Parker, please." "OK!"

  "Sorry about that, my girlfriend wanted to know something." "Who's your girlfriend?" I asked. "Let me show you." He said, and turned the camera. It was a girl, about my age (14), in a black and red jumpsuit. She turned around and grinned. "No- no- no-! She would never do this!" Issac shouted. Who was the girl?

  It was Nix. Or should I say Phoenix. Because she's kinda.. not my friend anymore.. So..

Heh.. I bet none of you saw that turn of events coming.. I know I did- er- kinda?
