"AH!" Katelyn shouted, missing my face by a inch. "Er- sorry, Katie, should have told you about that." "THAT YOU CAN TELEPORT?" "Er- yeah, that." "How he heck did you get a THIRD power?"
"I.. dunno," "You don't know?" "No." Katelyn sighed. "Alright, well, anyway. I got a corgi."
"You got a WHAT?" She punched my arm. "Shh, Keep your voice down, monkey!" "Right..So where's the corgi?" "Outside. Plus you didn't need to sh. Mom and dad're out shopping."
"Oh, sweet."
Katelyn opened the door. "C'mon, then, let's go," I nodded, and headed outside. There was a small corgi standing in the middle of the backyard. The corgi seemed to have just stopped running, and was panting. "Oh my god..I love it so much." "Yeah, that's what I said when I first saw him."
He ran up to Katelyn and looked up at her. "Hey, Allen." She said, picking him up and turning him towards me. "This is uncle Maroon." "Katie, i'm fourteen, i'm not ready to be a uncle." She shrugged.
"This is my doggo child. So you're going to have to be."
"Yeah, well, fine. And hey, Allen, i'm going to ask for babies corgis. Got it?" Allen looked at me. "..Aww.. ok fine, you don't have to have baby corgis if you don't want to."
I put out a small flame on my head. "Geez.. hell's really hot." "Yeah, I can tell." Allen barked at the top of my head. "Don't worry, Al, there's no fire. Uncle Maroon's safe." Allen smiled as Katelyn rubbed his back.
"M-maroon." Taylor said, standing on the front doorstep. "Since when have you just addressed me like that?" "W-what?" "You sounded.. formal. I'm you're best friend, aren't I?" "I mean- yeah, you are, but--" "Nah, it's fine."
"..Sorry, Tay, so uh- how's life?"
"Where should I start? Apparently I was n Hell for two weeks," "So that's why you didn't respond on Skype.." "But it felt like two days. Zip said he loves you and your family. Uh, oh yeah, he has a pet mini Cerberus. Name him Negro. Now they're both in heaven. Oh, and I went without powers for a bit which was awful." She explained.
I stared at her blankly. She wasn't that clear, but whatever.
"I was in Hell for a bit too. Just a day. And I thought I saw Zip, but it was Shift. Again. So he escaped and stuff.. and yeah, that's my story. Not as good as yours, huh?"
"I mean, I guess it's fine. I don't think my-" "Well, at least you actually saw him. I got tricked." "Happens a lot, doesn't it?" "Oh you know it does."
Issac ran in. "For gods sake, Issac, use the door--" "Taylor, uh, Benji was with me. And he sorta.. uh.. well," "What happened?"
Taylor ran down the stairs, almost breaking her leg. Did I mention my house was above ground level? In case there was a flood or something. A little puppy Husky sat on my front lawn. "Oh geez.."
"Benji.. what did you do!"
