"Henry's what?"
"Part elemental, 5% or 6%." "I thought Allison gave all her power to Taylor!" "Appearntly not.. she's 95% or 94%. I might be wrong, I'm not the best at this stuff." "I can't win, can I?" "No, I don't think so. Unless you turned out to be part elemental."
"Small chance." "But you're a speedster, you're still very powerful and capable of standing up against someone like Loki, Norse god of mischief." "Yeah, but Loki's Loki. The best thing I've ever gotten was Taylor, but you know what happened there." Passion sighed. "I see your point, Maroon, but keep a smile on your face. It helps."
"Yeah, well, life's treated me like garbage. I lost my girlfriend, was almost turned evil, lost my brother, and was shut away. I lost my sunshine, Passion, it's been just clouds since. I can't ever think straight. It's been awhile, I know, but I'm still not over it. When I tried to run away, life dragged me right back where I didn't want to be."
"Well, you can stop being so negative, because you have a team mission!" "Team? But--" "Supers get assigned with other supers all the time! Don't worry, you know them." "How do you know?" Passion winked. "What a answer."
Troy, Mercury, and Norah walked into the Super quarters. "What're you guys doing here?" "Going to the launch bay for the mission. You ready?" "Oh, yeah, yeah I'm ready." We made our way out, and hoped onto plane and took off.
"So what's the mission, Merc?" "Oh man, it's been awhile..anyway, we've got to get two Norse demigods. Sons of Loki." "Oh, great, Passion?" "Yeah?" "Please tell me Zeke's here."
"Yeah," She banged on a large cooler, it fell over, and Zeke fell out of it. "Hi..?" "Hey. I think you heard Mercury?" "Uh, yeah, yeah they're my brothers. Causing mischief and stuff. Kinda their thing,"
"How can we trust you?" Mercury hissed. "Because I'm Maroon's friend. I've got to be nice, don't I?" "I guess if he's Katie's brother's friend.. fine." Zeke nodded.
"Right, so let's get down to business." Norah said, typing on a computer. She turned it towards the group. "Harper, he has a celestial bronze dagger on him. Maroon and Mercury should go on him. He's armed. Ray, is unarmed, but smart. I'll go on him with Troy."
Norah looked over at Passion and Zeke. "Passion, Zeke, stay up on the plane. We need you to keep watch." They nodded, and the plane door opened. "Mercury, you have your board? Troy, got the glove?" The two nodded, and ran out.
I followed Mercury, who had just blocked Harper's blade with his skateboard. "Maroon, speed!" Mercury shouted, stumbling back. I ran at Harper, and swung at him with my fist. He blocked it with his blade, and I pulled Salazar out with my left hand. Did I mention I'm ambidextrous?
I took advantage at his state of surprise, and swung at is legs. He stumbled back, his left leg bleeding. He ran at me, aiming at my heart. I kneed him in the stomach, and he went flying back. Harper shouted, "Face me hand to hand, son of speed!" I took a step back, and mercury flew past me on his skateboard, which had become a hover board.
He jumped off, and upper-cutted Harper. Harper held his chin, and I ran past Mercury. I took a rope out of my pocket, and began running around Harper. In a few seconds, Harper was on the floor, wrapped tightly in rope. Mercury smirked, "We got him, Nor!" "Good, Merc!" She shouted back, her and Troy rolling Ray towards us, wrapped in rope too.
"Alright, back to the Super quarters."
