I sat on a bench at the park waiting for someone to show up. Even though Matika and even Joey said to leave it alone, I couldn't. When I found out Matika is pregnant I realized I have to protect myself and my family at all costs. Anybody who's a threat to that needs to be handled accordingly. They tried to end my life and harmed my cousin so the same should be done to them.

As I waited I watched the kids playing. They looked so happy. Having no worries and not knowing how harsh this world is is a breath of fresh air. Then they grow up to be just like everybody else. Even as a kid I don't remember being that carefree. My mom used to make me stay inside and read all day. Now I realize it was to keep me out of trouble. She tried to shelter me, but what do you do when the realities of the outside world are brought into your home?

I sighed growing impatient for this guy to show up. Dyamond wasn't playing when she said she wanted him to pay. She gave me the number of a dude in Long Beach who does hits at a fee. All I need to do is give him the money he needs to get this Pop character taken care of.

I'm tired of niggas trying me. Now there's this story going around the hood that I'm unkillable. That I won't die. That I'm basically immortal. I'll let them think that so maybe they'll leave me alone. I've never liked the stories they made up about me. They made me seem like some savage who just went around harming people. Maybe I did...It was a dog eat dog world when I was growing up. Now it's a lot calmer.

When my phone started ringing I was expecting it to be the guy saying he would be late or just not coming at all but instead it was Char. Oh, now she wants to call me back after ignoring me. I groaned then answered putting the phone to my ear. "Look who's calling back? What's up, Char?"
