I wake up to Bianca starring at me
Riley - Good morning to you too
Bianca - She's gone
Riley - I know...
Bianca - No, I mean she's literally gone. Look
I look over to her mattress. She's not there. I see Bianca looking around as if Lexi magically got up and walked away.
We hear the door open. We brace ourselves and hold hands. It's him. The man that killed Lexi.
Man - Good morning girls.
We don't say a word
Man - Bad news, dark hair
I guess he was talking to me
Man - we haven't found someone to take your place when you're gone, so I guess you can stay for a while.
Oh wow thanks
Bianca - Where's Lexi
Man - I can't keep her here, she'll stink up the room with death
He laughs. I get sick to my stomach just looking at him. He leaves some food and drinks on the table. He looks back as he's heading for the door. He looks at us and smiles. Bianca holds my hand tighter.
Bianca - We have to get out of here.
Riley - after what happened with Lex, I don't think I could ever do that again
Bianca - So you're just going to wait until they take you away to god knows where? Or even worse kill you?
Riley - Bianca, relax please.
I sit her down and make her rest her head on my shoulder.
Riley - Bianca
Bianca - Yes
Riley - Why haven't they gotten rid of you?
Bianca - I dont know.
Riley - You've been here for like two years.
Bianca - Lucky me
Riley - you know, all we have is eachother
Bianca - Don't remind me
She smiles at me
Riley - can you do something for me
Bianca - Anything
Riley - Be hopeful with me
She doesn't say anything, I think she's thinking about it.
Bianca - On one condition. When we get out of here, you'll remember me
Riley - I'll always remember you.
