I met this girl when I first got here. She's not one of us, I think she's more or maybe a paid maid or chef, I say this because all she does is feed me. She looks older than me. I've tried to ask her abut herself but she ignores me. And then when I try to talk about myself, she walks away.

Girl - It's nothing
I grab her arm, and I ask her one more time

Riley - Why haven't you told me your name?
Girl - It's none of your business
Riley - you're with me 24/7, how is that none of my business.
She lets out a sigh. I think she was annoyed of me.
Girl - It's Jessica.
Riley - Jexica
Jessica - No, Jessica
Riley - No, um, I have an alter ego, Jexica.
It brought back so many memories. I miss everyone so much.
Jessica - Where you from?
Riley - New York. Since we're asking questions. Who are you?
Jessica - I'm his daughter.
Daughter? You're joking right? What the fuck.
Riley - Daughter?
Jessica - Yes.
Riley - How can you be okay with this?! We're like the same age, and you're okay with letting him do this to me?

Riley - at this point, I don't think I'll ever go home. I never got to say goodbye to my parents, to my brother Auggie. My best friend, Maya. She can't live without me, I can't imagine what this is doing to her.
Jessica - Riley. Don't beat yourself up. Stuff like this just happens, that's life.
Riley - I don't want to be in a world where this stuff happens. I'd rather be dead than be in a room with you people.
