I look over at my clock. It is 8 The initiates come at 9. I leap up out of bed. "whats wrong" Noah asks from the Conner of my room. "You forgot to wake me up Noah It is 8 they come at 9!" I grab my towel and head into the bathroom I have a quick shower and get changed. I put on a tight black tank top with high waisted jeans I grab my gold dauntless bangle. I walk out of the bathroom. "you look sexy" a pair of arms wrap around me. I laugh. "I have to go get breakfast are you coming Noah?" He nods. We both grab chocolate muffins and run to the net just in time for the initiates. Dad smiles "you and Noah are with me and Zeke and Uriah are together. Sorry they have the dauntless borns we have the new initiates." Dad, Uriah and zeke take bets. "Erudite" me and my dad say at the same time, I smile. "No I think Abnegation" Uriah says. "no it was them the year before last year. watch. I bet this time next year they will be first" I smile up at dad, We all look at Zeke "Candor."
A blue shape emerges from the roof. "Erudite" dad smiles proudly. "whats your name?" I ask as she takes my hand. "N-natalie Prior" I look at mum her eyes look wide as she glances at the girl like she knows her. I mean how can she she has been dauntless all these years besides she transferred from abnegation Not Erudite. "First jumper Natalie" Zeke butts in. When everyone has arrived We take the initiates. "first up the pit" A candor laughs. I roll my eyes. I push open the door and they all step in. "clever name" I hear the candor mutter.
When we have finished the tour an the initiates go to their dorm I walk over to dad. Noah grabs my arm to stop me and pulls me into a kiss first. I feel a smile forming on my lips.
"MADDI, FOR HEAVENS SAKE GET A ROOM" Uriah calls from the distance whilst Kissing his own girlfriend and laughing.
"Mads, don't forget you are having dinner round ours tonight" dad calls "I remember dad I will be there In an hour, I need to get changed" he smiles.
I walk back to Mine and noahs appartment. We kept mine because my mums dad managed to pull some strings and get me a big house so I myself can start a family one day.
Noah grabs my hand and leads me into the room. "I know you have to go out tonight but can you delay it for a bit hun?" He practically begs "fine" I laugh because he looks so ridiculous. I text Dad 'gonna be maybe two hours instead. Blame Noah.' he replys almost instanly 'okay, I love you mads' I have another shower. I get my basic, plain, short, tight black dress from the wardrobe and put it on. I grab my bangel from dad. and I am done. I reach over the couch and get my black clutch. Noah takes my hand and gets into his car. He drives me to the sea It is evening so no on is here. He sits me down and gives me a slice of dauntless cake. oh he knows how to win me over. I look at my watch I have to be back in half an hour. We talk some more. "Maddi I love you and always will you know that right?" I smile "Of course I mean who wouldn't" I flick my golden hair back and laugh. "I love you too with all my heart Noah" He pulls out a box! He gets on one knee and looks a bit nervous "Maddi" he takes my hand. "Will you marry me" the smile on my face broadens "of course I will" He cries of joy and within seconds I am crying too. He put a thin golden ring onto my finger, it is beautiful the diamonds structure is perfect. AND GOLD! "I love it" I pull him into a kiss. When we break away I look at his watch. NO. we have to go but I really don't want to. "come on" he says taking my hand. I can't stop smiling. I text dad 'Can Noah come?X' My phone bleeps 'No Mum wants to see you by yourself for once if it was up to me I would says yes love. Sorry x' I smile at Noah 'Okay no probs almost back at the compound' my phone beeps again '?' I leave it I'm sure that can be explained by the ring.
Noah leads me to Mums apartment and kisses my goodbye. The door opens dad stands there. "Hi Noah" he smiles "bye Noah" He laughs "I love you see you later" I smile "I love you too" He kisses me one last time and leaves.
"Maddi finally you are here!" mum screams from the kitchen "I text dad saying I would be a couple of hours!" He looks confused "Why did you have to leave the comp-" I see him glancing at the ring. He hugs me. "oh Mads I am so happy for you. I sensed that coming Zeke said that Noah had a thing for you and well I guess he was right last year" He smiles and releases me from this bone crushing hug.
