We lead the initiates to the fear simulation room.
I call up the first initiate and lead her into the room. "Is your mum okay" she asks quietly. "Yes luckily she is very strong and pulled through." I take out the needle "there are two ways to get out of the simulation either lower your heartbeat or face your fears head on. In this simulation there will only be one of your fears you will find out how many fears you have tomorrow." She nod and then her eyes fall onto the ring "Omg that is so pretty, Aw you two make such a cute couple" She smiles. "Thank you, I am going to inject you with the serum now. Be brave Sam" I watch it on the screen. She is in a pitch black room. "You are a failure Sam you are untrue to your faction. To prove you believe in faction before blood you must shoot your family. "NO!" she screams "I will not!" I hear a bang and see she shot herself. She wakes up in a flash crying. "I am such a failure I was in there for what seemed like hours. I am going to become factionless I can just tell" she whines "you know how long you were in there for?" she shakes her head "10 minutes, you are not a failure most people take half and hour or over I will be surprised if you aren't in the top 2 this year Sam" she bites her lip. I think she is divergent I will have to watch her closely in simulations to make sure I'm right.I leave the room and go get the next person. I swear there is a mini Flynn and Eric in every group. "Sit down!" He rolls his eyes and obediently sits.
I swear from that simulation he is the biggest baby ever.
After the simulation I meet with dad and discuss the divergent who we suspect and who we know. One known, two suspected divergents.
The next day I wake up to 'I'm on a highway to hell...' The music gets turned down as I roll over "don't make me get up" He laughs and turns the light on he knows this is a pet hate of mine. "turn the light out now or so help me Noah" He leaves it on and runs I quickly get ready and see him in the canteen I run after him but he sees me I slowly follow when I meet him in the training room I give him a playful punch on the arm. The initiates follow us once more to the Simulation rooms.
I get Sam and lead her into the room..
