I get a call at two in the morning and quickly search for my phone I look at the caller Id and Mark is calling me- this can't be good.
"The doctor has just said if he feels up to it tomorrow he can leave and get back to training because it is fear simulations next anways." Mark blares down the phone.
"Okay hun, I will come and get you too before training so be read for 7:30 because we need to set the computers up." I reply.
"Okay" Mark says as I hear him yawning in the background.
"Mark It is nearing 3, get some sleep hun. You do need you wits about you during the fear simulations." I broadcast.
"Okay, night mum" He hangs up the phone.
I awake to the sound of water running I turn over and Noah isn't there. A few moments later he walks out of the shower in just a towel.He winks at me, I smile He is so cute.
Once I am ready we walk down to the infirmary. Mark is standing waiting and Alec jumps up when he see us.
"Morning" I nod over to the nurses station.
I push on the door to Alec's room and it clicks open. "How are you feeling?" I direct at Alec.
"I am a lot better. I could run a Marathon." He says whilst giving me a hug.
"Mark did you go to sleep?!" He nods as a reply to my question.
"Okay lets go" Noah says with a smile.
I take Alec's hand and we walk to the training room. A few minutes later the initiates all pour in.
"Initiates, Today is fear simulations, you won't find out your number today but you will instead have to face just one of your fears. Follow Noah to the simulation room."
I quickly tap on the computer and check no one has changed the settings.
"First up Alec!" Alec lets go of Mark's hand and walk confidently to the door with a smile.
"The serum will go under effect when your eyes open hun. Be brave. Try to hide your divergence as much as possible." I whisper into his ear. He nods.
I inject his neck. and quickly connect myself into the software.
I look on the monitor and a gun appears onto the table. "Faction before blood, Alec shoot them, shoot you loved ones or we kill you." He shakes his head.
"I am not going to kill them." He replies in a strong voice.
Simulation me is screaming at him to shoot as is Noah and Mark just gives him eye contact that has been broken yet.
"SHOOT THEM NOW! YOU HAVE THREE SECONDS." A tear falls down his face.
I watch him load the gun. "While this may be a cowardly move I am not going to kill them!" He loads the gun.
simulation Mark screams NO.
Alec places the gun to his head and shoots.
His eyes fly open "How did I do?" He sounds excited. "2 minutes 01 second, That is amazing for you first go the average is 10 minutes Alec!" I give him a kiss and call in Mark.
Mark sits on the chair. I give him the same words of advice as I gave Alec. "Be brave Mark" I look up okay He is in the pit with a crowd around him the crowd parts as he walks down it. Alec stands behind a table with a gun on it.
"Kill Alec, he is a traitor and deserves to die!" I voice somewhere To the side screeches.
"No I am not going to kill my brother no matter what he has done!" He shouts.
