Chapter Nineteen

Hayes picked me up in the morning with Nash and his girlfriend Camryn. I bought my ticket and we're now at the gate waiting for our flight to start boarding.

"Hayes and I are going to get drinks do you want anything?" Nash asked us.

"Lemonade." I replied and Camryn asked for Water. Camryn was actually really pretty she had long brown hair and big brown eyes that fit perfectly on her face. The boys were soon out of our sight and Camryn started talking.

"Are you and Hayes a thing?" I shook my head. Even though we both know that we have feelings for each other he never asked me out. He had so many opportunities too but he never did.

"How did Nash ask you out?" I asked. Once I said that she started smiling. It was adorable.

"He asked me out at a New Years party, I was his date." I couldn't help but smile too. That New Years party was the best even if all I did was stay in my room. I was with Hayes and that made it 10 times better.

The boys walked back with our drinks. I took my lemonade out of Hayes' hand.

"Thanks," he nodded and sat next to me. It was really quiet so I took out my phone and went onto Instagram. I looked over to see what Hayes was doing. He was texting someone. The girl's name was Emilee.

"Who's that?" I asked in a little kid voice and I wiggled my eyebrows. Hayes put his phone away quickly and tried to play it cool.

"It was no one," I rolled my eyes .

"You don't have to lie, I don't care Hayes," Yes I care because he's my friend but now I want to know even more because he wants it to be a secret .

"It wa--" Hayes tried to say but then got interrupted.

"Gate 16 is now boarding," I couldn't help but groan because now I have to get up.

"I'll tell you later," he said and got off of his chair. We followed Camryn and Nash into the plane and sat behind them. I took the window seat and Hayes sat closer to the aisle.

"So, are you going to tell me who Emilee is?" I asked moving my shoulders closer to his.

"Nahh, you'll get to meet her soon." I couldn't help but roll my eyes. All I want to do is know who this girl is!

The flight attended soon talked about safety things and to turn off all electronics and stuff like that. I got out my blanket and wrapped myself around it .

"Can I have some blanket too?" Hayes asked and gave me a puppy dog face. I gave him some of my blanket and moved closer to him. He inched closer to me too. I laid my head on his shoulder and soon fell asleep.

When I woke up we were still up in the the air. All I did was open my eyes a little. I still was on Hayes' shoulder and I could see he was texting that Emilee girl again.

"Who's Emilee?" I asked. He quickly put his phone down so I couldn't see it.

"No one, she's just a really old friend that I came in touch with a while ago." I nodded, I guess that's cool.

"How much longer until we land?" Hayes checked the time on his phone and smiled.

"About 30 minutes," I felt a bit uncomfortable because his smile was still on his face and it was some what creepy. I get it that he is happy to see his fans but he should ditch the smile.

When we finally landed Camryn and I went off to the bathroom while Nash and Hayes went to find the other boys .

"So how was the flight?" Camryn asked as she fixed her hair in the mirror.
