//Daryl's POV//

The rest of the day I was a tense little shit.

I did not like that Peter person one bit.

As I was sat on the bed cleaning my crossbow I looked up to see Ophelia was deciding on a top.

Smiling softly I stood up from the bed and walked over towards the woman.

I left a trail of kisses on her back over her scars and just cherished her.

I didn't do this enough and ever since the group was split at the prison I cherished Ophelia even more.

Pulling away I plonked myself back on the bed as Ophelia finally chose a top.

A few minutes had passed and Ophelia turned around to face me with a soft, devious smile on her face.

She wore her hair in a French plait that framed her face like a painting. She wore minimal make up and her skin glowed under the moon beams.

Damn I really struck gold with this woman.

Standing up we began to walk over towards Deannas house for the party.

Couldn't wait for this night to be over.

Approaching the house that glowed in the low light we made our way into the building to see a shit load of people gathered drinking alcohol and eating snacks like cheese and biscuits.

As we moved further into the house Glenn and Maggie began to approach us.

Holding a small glass of wine in his hand Glenn patted both our shoulders and smiled.

"I thought you said you wouldn't go near another drop of alcohol again after the CDC." Ophelia chuckled.

"A little won't hurt." Glenn smiled.

"Well let's see how red your face gets this time."

As the four of us chuckled Ophelia tapped my shoulder and pointed towards the kitchen area.

"I'll be over there."

"I'll come to." Maggie smiled walking next to Ophelia who began talking to the woman as they both walked away together.

Turning to Glenn I sighed.

"This party is shit."

"Better than nothing."

"Wha' do yer know Rhee?"

"Oh come on don't be like that."

Grunting I shook my head as I silently prayed this would be over soon.
