Air. Air. I need air.

And as I opened my eyes did I find myself gasping for oxygen as I bolted up, beads of sweat dripping down my face as I breathed heavily, my chest rising and falling faster than a race horse.

"Ophelia!"

I heard at least 3 different voices say my name as I breathed deeply and focused on controlling my breathing. My brothers warning was still fixated in my head and I found his words echoing through out my brain.

Swallowing harshly did I look around to see Daryl was on one side of the dentist like chair whilst Maggie and Doctor Carson were on the other, and to say they all had relief painted over their faces would be an understatement.

Turning my head to my right did a smile finally form on my lips as I locked my eyes onto Daryl's blue orbs that looked puffy and swollen. Even the thought I was close to leaving him made me want to curl into a ball and cry myself.

Before I could even blink I found myself against Daryl's chest as he launched into me and wrapped his muscular around around my petite body

Before I could even blink I found myself against Daryl's chest as he launched into me and wrapped his muscular around around my petite body. I could feel the relief In each breath he took and found myself holding onto him for dear life.

He began to hold the back of my head as I burried my face into his chest and embraced the man I was so close to leaving just a few seconds ago.

"Though' I'd lost ye."

"Never." I breathed. "Not in a million years."

Kissing his cheek softly did I slowly pull away as I soon found my arms wrapped around Maggie who was rocking me back and fourth slightly as we embraced.

"You gotta stop nearly dying." She chuckled.

"Sorry Mags."

Finally pulling away did I place a hand on her shoulder and give it a reassuring squeeze before I rubbed my tired eyes that felt heavy only to notice a particular blondie wasn't here. She couldn't have died surely.

"Where's Avery?" I asked.

I swallowed harshly as their gazes fell to the floor and I found a deep sigh escaping my lips as I harshly bit the inside of my cheek.

"She didn't make it?"

"We don't know. She's just gone."

I snapped my head towards Maggie who was in the process of rubbing her hand over her forehead as she looked over at Daryl who was chewing on his thumbnail.

"What do you mean she's just gone?" I asked, looking between them both.

"She left once you guys got to the hilltop. She was in a pretty bad state. She could barely walk and her head was bleeding but...she was pissed, we tried to stop her I swear but she walked through those gates with a rifle in her hands and stormed of."
