//Ophelia's POV//

As I was wondering around the kingdom I found myself at a building by the edge of the community.

I rubbed my hands together in the chilly air in an effort to keep myself warm. I wasn't in a great mood to say the least. Daryl hadn't told Carol the truth, I understood that but that wasn't what was bothering me.

The moon was beaming down and I looked up at the stars. I was free but freedom isn't what I thought it would feel like.

Shrugging did I slowly open the door to see Ezekiel's tiger, Shiva, laying down in her giant cage. I had to say, I didn't think I would ever see a tiger again after the world went to shit. This world never ceases to amaze me sometimes.

Shiva was beautiful tiger. The way her stripes covered her orange fur, how her paws gracefully relaxed as she laid down.

As I approached the tiger I smiled softly as she began walking towards me and very slowly put my hand through the bars, desperately hoping she wouldn't bite my damn hand of.

I placed my hand on the top of its head and stroked it gently. The fur felt soft under my rough hands and Shiva embraced my touch as she scooted closer to the edge of the cage.

First time stroking a tiger and it seems to be going well.

I sat myself down by the cage and began to stroke her, she purred like a soppy cat every time I scratched behind her ears.

I noticed there was a bowl of some sort of meat by her cage and took a piece in my hand as I fed it to her, luckily she didn't bite my fingers of in the process.

So focused on the tiger I hadn't realised Daryl had crouched down behind me and begin to feed the tiger too. His body was so close to mine that I could feel his warm breath send goosebumps down my skin.

But a frown stretched on my lips as I turned away and folded my arms over my chest like I was a damn 5 year old.

Daryl leant his head back and let out a deep sigh before his gruff voice spoke.

"You've been givin' me the cold shoulder all day woman. Wha' did I do?"

I shrugged my shoulders, still avoiding eye contact did he wrap his arms around his legs and turn his body to face me.

"Ophelia Dixon."

Pouting my lips did I turn to face him, narrowing my eyes as I looked into his blue orbs did he throw his hands up in the air.

"Ye sure are impossible sometimes, yer know tha'?"

"Oh I'm sorry. Would you prefer to be with Carol?" I mumbled.
