I was leant back against the wall which felt a little cold against my back. I had counted that it had been a week since I'd lost my redneck and I wasn't feeling any better.

I watched as Judith played with a couple off red plastic cups, her hair was now blonde and she looked a little like Lori when she smiled.

I was babysitting for Rick and Carl whilst they were out and about. I hadn't talked to anyone much lately. I kept to myself and so did most people to be honest.

A lot of us was broken. A lot. But I just had to hope it wouldn't last.

When I heard the door open did I push myself of the wall and let out a deep sigh when Rick nodded his head.

They were here.

As I walked past Rick I grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze, nodding my head at him did he try and smile softly at me before I left.

Walking over towards the gate did I stand near Rosita who had her arms folded over her chest but she nodded at me none the less.

I watched as Negans shadow appeared through the gate, his whistle echoing through Alexandria as he banged on the gate. His very footsteps sent shivers down my spine.

"Little pig! Little pig! Let me in!"
