The thought of hurting you still haunts me today
"Never again" I repeat in my mind
But even now I still find
It is hard to save you from this secondhand pain
From my negative thoughts taking form in crimson rain
Though logic says to just keep it secret
My heart screams, "Be faithful, don't keep it!"

I will never try to hurt you in any way
Like before, with the evil words I would say
Even if you hurt me with corrupt intention
There will never, ever be reason
To push you away or try to ignore
To cause you pain like I did before...
I love you too much to want to cause you hurt
Because the thought of your pain hurts the worst.
