If I look around me, romance is all I see
When my lovestruck eyes are clouded with pink
A bloody film that makes lust awaken
Tampering with a heart that is already broken
Don't run away dear, I don't bite
I promise you I will only bring light
To our shaded lives
And our lonely minds
I don't want to be used
I don't want to hurt you
I only want to fill this void in me
I want to make you happy
With some silly romance
With these scarred hands
I wish I could give you a part of me
But there is nothing left of me

I have been through more than I will ever show

Every white line tells a story
Some are jagged, others clean
I cut my troubles away
On depressing and lonely days
I carved a symbol of love into my skin
Now it is just a scar that is kept hidden
I want to share my eventful tale
But I am so afraid that I will fail
And somehow hurt you
I don't know what I should do
