Yesterday (Poem)

Yesterday you claimed you were over her.

Yet with my lips against another,

Her shadow lies in front of you.

Haunting you. Taunting you.

Making you feel unfaithful

When it was her who wasn't faithful

Yesterday you claimed that you let her go

But if you just looked a little closer you would know

That her shadow still remains

Your stitched-up heart still feels the same

Yesterday you told yourself

You can feel love towards someone else

Yet here you are feeling nothing but desire

Face it, you are just a little liar

To yourself, to those around you

To those who have hurt you

You say it is okay

You say that you are okay

But you are a cripple, a mistake

And your heart still feels the same

Yesterday, you lied to yourself.

But you are not someone else

You are not strong. You are not wise.

The pain still brings tears to your eyes.

Your soul is stronger than this

Your name isn't even this..

You can give the name "Korra" to your pathetic self

When you finally let her go, truly, Seraph.
