Here in bed I lay
Wandering in this head of mine
I want to run away
To a world where the sun shines
In the night as well as the day
A world where everyone is kind
And everything is always okay
This world that I am trying to find
It is not so far away
Because this world is in my mind
But it is not here to stay
It leaves me when I cry
And when my mind wanders astray
But it returns when I try
To help my mind find its way.
