Because life is not as terrible as my depressed mind makes it
I really can be happy, I don't have to fake it
Because life isn't just memes and romance
It is full of hard decisions and broken promises
It is full of highs and lows
So now I want you all to know
Just because I can not truly fall in love again
Doesn't mean I can't learn to love in a new fashion

Without breaking my heart again
A pretty girl leans on my shoulder
Making my dying flame of lust burn brighter
Yet somehow it still feels wrong
To go singing these silly love songs
When all I feel is lust, not real love
This little romance will never be enough
To fill the empty hole within my heart
That is ripping and tearing me apart
