Korra (Poem)

She is a warrior, strong inside and out.

She defeated depression, and can live without

Constantly looking to the past

Without regretting the love that never did last

When all of her combat ability was taken from her

She got back up and showed the world she was stronger

Than the awful men that used her as a toy

Than the ones who betrayed her without any reason why

She is a master of self defense,

Who trains to keep those she loves safe.

Her name is Korra.

To my passed friends and lost mother, you will see

I can be who you wanted me to be

That I don't have to be weak, I can be stronger than my fear

But my future is still quite unclear

My name defines who I claim to be

But I don't know who I will be

In the future I did not plan to be alive to see

Now, who do you want me to be?

With her symbol around my neck

I will do my best to move forward and never look back.
