Every feeling I have felt
Has been written in lead, ink, or code
It has been spoken
It has been sung
It has been screamed
It has been sobbed
But it has never been seen
Until now.
Social media has taken a part of me
It has exposed it for everyone to see
But there is still so much left inside
So much darkness that is still in hiding
Only with a select few have seen
That deep into the horrors inside me
Where you see light I will always be in its shadow
Where you feel joy I will always feel sorrow
It is not that I am not standing in the light
It is that I am completely blind
So where you see a depressed teenager
I see a space better without her
