Maya says as she puts her arm around Riley
Farkle - Mitchelle told us that something happened with the dance?
Riley - I ruined it.
Zay - How so?
Riley - I could've sworn that I called and booked them
Lucas - Who?
Riley - There was supposed to be a live band tomorrow. I thought I called and booked them, but I guess I forgot to.
Maya - Well, that's not bad honey. You can always make a playlists and just play some music.
Riley - Shr told me, one mistake and I'm out. And I'm out.
Maya - Because you missed something? That's not right Riley, she can't do that.
Riley - She can and she did.
Zay - So no dance?
I nudge Zay with my elbow
Zay - What? Natalie already had a date.
Riley - I guess no dance for us.
Farkle - I'm sorry Riles
Riley - You guys would've loved it, I worked so hard on the decorations. I even snatched us a chocolate fountain.
Riley puts her head on Maya's shoulder and she starts singing a little lullaby. Maya always does this whenever Riley is upset. It calms her. Riley gets up quickly and looks st Maya
Maya - What?
Riley stares at Maya with a big smile on her face. It looked hopeful
Maya - No
Riley - Peaches
Maya - No. I am not singing in front of the whole school. I only sing in front of you guys
Riley - But peaches, you have a beautiful voice. And all those songs you wrote are so good
Maya - Yes they are good, but no I am not going to sing at the dance
Farkle - Oh come on Maya, just a couple of songs.
Maya - Shut up
Farkle - Is Maya Hunter going to let Riley Mathews, her best friend, not be at the dance that she worked so hard on
Maya gives Farkle the most nastiest mean look. Then looks down
Maya - Fine..
Riley - Peaches, don't worry about it. You're an amazing singer.
Maya - You owe me
Riley - anything anytime
Riley gives Maya a kiss on the cheek, grabs her hand and skips away.
