I get home from school and there's a package for me at my door. I found it so strange because I never get any mail. I go to my room, put my stuff down, and open the box. My math book. Seriously? I chuckle as I take it out of its box. Why couldn't she just given it to me at school? She could've thrown it in my locker. Or put it on my desk. Did she really have to deliver it to my house? Really Riley? A couple of hours pass and I decide to text Zay. It's Friday night, I don't want to stay home.
Lucas : Yo
Zay : sup
Lucas : Plans tonight?
Zay : Nah man, I think I'm just gonna stay in tonight
Lucas : It's Friday.
Zay : When do we ever go out?
Lucas : Fine.
Zay : I'll see you tomorrow
Well that sucks. I play video games on my phone for a while. I look at the time, it's barely 8 p.m. Out of no where, for some reason, I pull out my contacts and click on Maya's phone number. I don't even think I was thinking at the moment because I ended up texting her.
Lucas : Maya?
Maya : Who's this?
She really deleted my number, petty.
Lucas : Lucas
Maya : What do you want huckleberry?
Lucas : How are you?
Maya: What?
Lucas : How are you?
Maya : Why do you care?
Lucas : I just wanted to know how you were.
Maya : I'm fine
I didn't text her back. I didn't even do anything to her and she treats me like that. I end up falling asleep at 9 pm on a FRIDAY night. I'm lame.
