By the time more police had arrived, everything had been taken care of. The scattered money was being collected, the crooks were secured,  and placed in a police wagon, handcuffed, and awaiting the due process. It was now heading to police headquarters. Daniel just hovered overhead and watched the whole entire scene from above. He casually flew back to his newest spot, and as he was landing and returning back from where he had laid himself down, He closed his eyes, and began to reminisce about days of old protecting the city, but just at the height of his superhero life, a scandal. A scandal that stopped him from ever wanting to be a superhero again. The negatively glaring looks he received from civilians with inquiry minds. The mother and daughter's accusations had halted everything. Daniel had found himself smack dab in the middle of a sexual harassment lawsuit. the next thing he knew he was being sued by just about anyone he could have imagined. He would stop an airplane from crashing, the passengers would sue. If he stopped a runaway train, the passengers would sue. Just about anything he did that involved civilians, there was a lawsuit attached to it. He had finally had enough. After his big announcement, he was done. No more swooping in and helping the civilians of Millennium city. He was through. Even though Mayor Randall had pleaded with him to stay on as Millennium city's champion, his decision to retire had reached its own Pinnacle.

He had become Millennium city's surviving son, and there wasn't an evil meta-human in Millennium city that did not fear him, even the heavily mutated ones. He could have run for mayor and would have won hands down, and everyone knew it, including the current mayor Randall. He had given a few speeches in Century Park, the first was the unveiling of his monolithic statue, the second was at the summer fest at the Urban youth fund, hosted by Dr. Jones. and one at the Super Food fest of Millenium City.
good lad who never looked for trouble, in fact, he was a boy scout. Always doing good deeds for anyone he could help, but one day on a school field trip, he found himself smack dab in the middle a chemical plant explosion, which was the genesis of the great metahuman outbreak, the outbreak that would change his life forever.

Daniel's entire school bus had been evacuated due to the bomb threat. He himself did not evacuate once the great bomb had exploded,  he found himself dead center in the middle of the explosion. When it was all over, the men in black had whisked him, his father and mother away, and placed them under their governmental care. They watched him grow stronger and more powerful every day. He never saw graduation, a prom, or even had a high school sweetheart, any sign of normal life would not be in his vocabulary. But, it was on his eighteenth birthday that would set his life on the course for amazing being. Daniel did everything in his metahuman abilities to save his mother and father, but by the time he had reached them, they were engulfed in the flames of the facility. This was the day Captain Pinnacle was born. Breaking free of his governmental prison, he had returned to Millennium city to become its champion. There were times, even now, where he would ask himself "How did I come to this?" From champion to a homeless unknown. One thing was for sure, Alpha Force had their hands full, Sentinel, or not, and maybe it was time for his triumphant return as Millennium city's champion.
