"We square now Dex?" Mia asked as she straddled him at the dining table. "Mia, what are you doing ?"com'on, your too heavy for this."  He said jokingly. "Heavy ?!" "I'll show you heavy!" She began pushing her weight down on his lap, but Dex just laughed at her efforts. She actually felt as light as a feather. "Are you trying to call me fat?!" She gave him a serious look, but couldn't maintain it as she began to smile her self.  "You didn't answer my question, are we square now?" She asked again, but more seriously this time. She wanted him to have a clear understanding that they were once again back on, but this time, they would most definitely take things at a lot slower pace. No rushing to the altar right away. she just wanted to enjoy being back into a real committed relationship with him for now. If marriage was on the horizon, she wanted them to deal with it later on, but at this point, marriage was a moot point. they had each other, and that was enough. Just as she was dismounting him, her cell began to chime. It was the paper.  her editor had sent her a message about a possible sighting of Captain Pinnacle. "Oh my God." She said under breath.   "Mia, what is it?" Dexter said getting up from the table coming over to her. Mia showed him the message. " "Oh wow." "is this for real?" He said looking at her cell. "Someone actually saw him?" "No, but the signature was his ." " It just happened a few hours ago in Century Park."  She had replied. "What are you going to do?" Dexter asked. "Well, since I can't get a story on you, I might as well run with this lead," Mia said. "Besides, you don't get bones like this dropped on your plate every day." She continued. Dexter agreed with her. He knew that she was the best there was at what she did." Meet me for drinks later ?" "Wait, can you drink? She asked. "Drink what, like alcohol?" Dexter replied ."Yes, why do you ask?" She immediately began looking at the Quantum badge illuminating in his chest. Dexter looked at it too. "Yea, I guess so."  She kissed him, and with that, she went to get dressed, and head out to get her story. Dexter moved over to the window and peered out, and his mind had him thinking about the return of Millennium city's surviving son. Captain Pinnacle.
