Finally, after everything was said and done, Pinnacle had been stopped.  after finding out that he was no longer the strongest metahuman in Millennium City, he decided to turn himself in without a fight. Grafter had been placed in a specialized cell deep within an ARCH ANGEL facility, and Vaal was on Orion 8 awaiting trial before the inner galactic council. Jones and Alpha Force had returned to their normal lives, keeping close watch over the city and wayward meta's. Dexter and Mia sat on the couch in his condo discussing her next level.

Okay Dex, how did you do it? Mia finally asked. "How did I do what? A very small part of him knew she wanted to know how he was able to stop Pinnacle's mighty punch, but thought it better to explain how he did it. " Well, during my training on Orion 8, we were taught how to use an opponent's strength against him." "We have a similar system here on earth called Aikido, it's called Jendae on Orion 8, Pinnacle's abilities were man-made." " We have tested the Sentinel uniform over and over, and there is nothing man-made that can destroy it." "Pinnacle's powers are man-made." "Grafter was trying to rip the quantum badge from my chest with some type of cosmic disruption device that he had obviously got from Seth Vaal." "He would have succeeded if it weren't for the three other Sentinels coming to my rescue." "But how were they able to find you?" Mia asked. "Just before I fell unconscious, my quantum badge sent out a distress signal to any Sentinels near the quadrant ." Luckily for me, they had just finished a mission nearby when I sent the signal." "Wow", "that's really something else," Mia replied. "So, now that you have impregnated me with your alien technology, what happens now?" Dexter was staring out of his balcony glass door trying to figure it all out. Mia was sitting under him resting her head against his outer chest. "Well, that depends on you." We can try to rid you of the alien technology, or we can embrace it, and try to figure out exactly what's going on." The only way we can do that is on Orion 8." Dexter said. "Orion 8?" "Why do we have to go to Orion8?" Mia would ask lifting her head from its position. "They have the technology to figure all this out." "Dex, I don't know". "You're asking me to go to another planet, one that I've never been to before." She was standing up now. " Before you, I didn't even know other worlds existed." "Well they do," Dexter said. "The choice is yours." You're a metahuman now, but it is all by choice." "You don't have to be if you don't want to be." Mia began to ponder Dexter's words. She began to wonder how she could become apart of Alpha force in the process, that is of course once she found out what the alien tech had altered. "Okay before I make my decision, let me see what I am capable of." As she stood up in the middle of the floor, she thought about flying, and immediately. She began levitating off the floor. "Holy shit, I can fly ?!!" She moved over to Dexter's stove and refrigerator. She grabbed them both and lifted them off the floor with ease. "Oh my". She said looking at the large appliances she effortlessly hefting them up in the air. She put them back down and looked at her lover in total awe. "Orion 8 then? " Dexter had said. "When do we leave?"

Becoming a member of the Alpha Force, upon their return, from Orion 8, meant that money would not be an issue. She could continue to work for the Times, but only if she had chosen to. it was her prerogative. But, one thing was for sure, she was now a metahuman, a super-powered being, and once she had received her final analysis on Orion 8, she would begin her new life. " What will you call yourself once you go through the Sentinel training ?" Dexter asked smiling at her. "You know Dex, I'm not sure, but I'm sure it will come to me once it's all said and done." " When do we leave?" Dexter looked at his watch, jokingly stuck his index finger in his mouth, held it up, as if to catch the sway of the wind, looked at his lover, and said: "right now." Mia's eyes had widened surprisingly, and all she could reply was "Are you kidding me !!? " And he was. He just wanted to hear her response.                                                                                                                                                                                I am not an animal! Grafter yelled out while he sat in a concrete cell with no windows. Jones had designed a specialized dolly that would keep Grafter stabilized for years to come. Even though Dexter had burned any remaining evidence of the alien insectoid from Grafter's spine, there was no telling how much of it had already attached to his bloodstream or DNA. Needless to say, he wasn't going anywhere any time soon.

Daniel sat in the prison yard alone. He looked at the guards with their specialized guns all about but knew they were no real threat to him. Oddly he was waiting for a friend's visit with great anticipation. He didn't miss the presence of the other prisoners at all, in fact, he loved the solitude, but for the warden, it meant prisoners looking to get back at the one who put them behind bars in the first place, wouldn't be able to try anything stupid. Just then, Daniel's visitor had arrived. It was none other than Dr. Dexter Drake. "Hello Daniel, how are things?" He asked sitting across from him on the yards bench. "Well Doc, I've got plenty of time to think about everything. " I know I have to get past some stuff not having a real childhood and all. " "I have a pretty messed up life Doc." "That goes without saying Daniel, you'd been lied to by just about everyone you have ever trusted, you can only take the blame for your own actions," Dexter said. "I know." He replied looking towards the ground smiling. " Are you ever going to tell me how you did it ?" "Did what Daniel?" Dexter replied. "You know, the fist thing, how did you do it?" "I'll tell you what, you stick it out these next two years, and when you get out, I will personally show you how I did it, how's that?" "Sounds fair enough," Daniel replied. Just then a mirrored sun glassed guard had emerged from the door trying his best to be authoritatively responsible. "My times up." "Same time next week Doc? " Daniel asked rising his huge frame up from the bench. "You bet, I'll be right here waiting on you," Dexter said as he watched the surviving son of Millennium city make his exit from the yard, and back into the walls of the facility. Dexter had halted all of his other patients for a short while he only wanted to deal with Mia's transition, and Pinnacle's breakthroughs. After getting to a safe distance away from prying eyes, he placed his right hand inside his suit jacket, and in a quick cosmic flash of blue and purple, he had become the Sentinel of the earth once more. He looked back towards the prison, and then toward the city And, just past the Wilson tower, he could just imagine the unseen wormhole that would take them to that very hidden galaxy that he and his lover Mia would soon be traveling to.
