Grafter was destroying the command center/ headquarters after his return from his unearthly experience with Seth Vaal. The alien insect was sending him into an angry fit of rage. He did his best to overcome the alien insects penetrating stinger but had eventually given in. Seth Vaal never explained exactly what the alien bug-like creature would do once it had fully impregnated Grafters body, but one thing was for sure when it finally would end, the alien power would finally give him what he needed to defeat his foe, Dexter Drake.
Some few hours later, Grafter's naked form lay on the cool concrete floor in a fetal position. The alien bug had finally reached its end and simply detached itself from Grafters lower back. It died instantly once it did. Grafter began feeling better, although he still didn't know exactly what its purpose was. Suddenly he began feeling stronger. His frail form began toning on its own as he lifted himself off of the floor. Standing fulling erect now a smooth shiny dark green skin like material had begun to form over his body and covered his entire head. His chest and abdomen were a grey color and somewhat scaly. His head covering came to a sharp point just to the bridge of his nose leaving his eyes, nose, and mouth still exposed. He looked at himself in his mirror and instantly became amazed at his new form. He began looking at his covered arms, and as he turned his palms facing upwards, two snake-like tentacles had begun to appear. They moved about at Grafters mental commands. When he told them to grab things throughout the command center, he could feel them deep within his body. He began lifting heavier objects, and when he told them to grab hold of things of energy, he could feel them draining its power. This could be the deciding factor that could turn the tables in his favor he thought to himself. Just as he was trying to figure out how to keep the covering hidden, He could hear his faithful lackey Arnold entering in the command center. "Hey Doc you in here?" Arnold yelled out. "Over here, Arnold." Grafter said with a chilling raspy voice.
Mia's cell was buzzing frantically as she and Kiyanna walked down Michigan Avenue. Finally, she took it out and looked at to see who it was that was trying to reach her. It was her editor at the times. Once she read the message, she had to stop dead in her tracks. "Omigod." She said under breath. 'He is back." "Who are you speaking of," Kiyanna asked. "Captain Pinnacle, and he's doing a press conference in Century park this afternoon!" "Oh dear", "Where on earth has he been all this time?" Mia's journalistic juices had begun to flow. She needed to have this story on the front page. "Kiyanna, can we take a rain check on the shopping spree this morning, "I need to get this story." Mia finally had said. "We will both go Mia. " "I too am equally interested in finding out where he has been." And, before Kiyanna could get out another word, Mia was already hailing a cab.
