"Mia we have to go to Omnicorp towers." Dexter had told her. "Why would we go there?" Mia asked him. "They have a scanner that's able to give us a better reading than the store bought a pregnancy test ."  "It'll tell us everything we need to know about what's happening to you." "Okay, Dex, whatever you say." For a split second, Dexter was in utter shock. "Whatever you say !?" He said to himself. Not that Mia was a pushy and overbearing person in the past, but he had never seen her so vulnerable. But all the same, he was still glad to show her that he could take charge of the circumstance.

After taking an emergency medical leave from the Times, Dexter and Mia began their trek towards Omnicorp. But, as they were emerging from her building, they were immediately met with an energy blast from above. The energized blast had ripped up the concrete, and knocking them both backward. Immediately, Dexter began covering Mia. He happened to look to the sky and saw a very familiar hideous smile even with a specialized helmet. It was Grafter, and he had a new toy.

While Grafter was circling around to get himself a better shot at Dexter, Dexter had managed to get Mia back into the building to safety. "Who the hell was that ?!" "And why is that idiot firing at us !" Mia said still trying to get a glimpse of their sky assassin. " Mia, do you have another exit to this building?" Dexter asked. "Yes". She replied. " I need you to take a Taxi over to Omnicorp, my friend William will be waiting for you." He gave her his special passkey, and told her to go directly to the security desk, they would know how to direct her. "You're not going with me?" She asked him surprisingly. "No. I have to stop this mad man! " I have to distract him. He continued looking at the pedestrians running for cover ."Go ahead and  take off now !" "But how did he know you were here?" Mia asked. "I don't know, but I'll ask him when I get the chance." " Now would you go woman!" And with that, Mia was heading for the service entrance in the back of the building. Dexter, on the other hand, watched to make sure she was entirely gone from the scene and then headed out himself. Once he was outside, he searched the sky for any sign of Grafter and his latest toy. Grafter had been a thorn in his side ever since the day of him acquiring the Quantum badge. Grafter's first attack was some specialized huge elaborate ion blaster, the second time was a type a virus he had set up to infiltrate the water supply in Dexter's condo. the third was the guided missile just a few weeks ago. But, this latest toy might just even the playing field, if he didn't stop him soon.

Once Dexter found a spot to transform, Grafter had spotted him once more, and once he did, he vigorously began firing into the alleyway, however, his energy bolts had little to no effect, and by the time he'd seen the flash of purplish cosmic energy, it was already too late. Dexter, now in his Sentinel guise, was already in the air and heading towards his adversary. The force from Dexter's blow had sent Grafter flying backward and falling quickly. Immediately Dexter was upon him once more, only this time he kept Grafter off-kilter with a barrage of right and left crosses. If there was ever a time Grafter was sorry he'd ever attempted something like this, it was now. Dexter had grabbed Grafter's arm, the force from it felt like he'd just pulled it out of its socket. "No!" Grafter yelled out as he watched his mission begin to fall apart. Dexter, still hanging on to Grafter's arm was now slinging him around and finally releasing him, sending crashing through one of the newly constructed office buildings. The force of Dexter's throw was more than his specially designed exoskeleton could take, in fact, everything was in the offline mode, leaving him completely vulnerable. As he tumbles through stone wall and glass, Grafter was so tired from his bout with the Sentinel, that he just sat on the floor and waited for the rest of his apparent thrashing. Just as he was regaining himself, Dexter had flown up to the floor where Grafter was gathering himself. "You keep trying to destroy me Grafter, but you fail every time."  'Anyone with common sense would even know better, but not you, you are not a well individual."  Dexter had come all the way into the office floating casually over to Grafter a few feet from the floor. "I really hope you haven't attached any body parts to that thing." Grafter was confused at Dexter's concern, but it was the next thing that happened, that reminded him once again that he was still the weaker of the two.
