Dexter had finished up with his twelve o'clock appointment. Her name was Lela, and she was struggling with bulimia. He had gone to the roof of the building to transform once more, and head back over to Mia at Omnicorp towers. As he flew his normal flight plan, he notices several helicopters hovering high above Century park. Using his hyper sense of hearing he could hear the radios talking about the return of Captain Pinnacle. Immediately, and at top speed, he headed to see Mia back at the tower.

By the time he had reached the roof of Omnicorp, Jones was already boarding his Tri- air cycle and clicking it on. He was in full gear wearing his Alpha acceleration suit. "Did you hear?!" Dexter said as he landed just in front of the cycle. "Yeah." "Kiyanna called me." " She and Mia are... "MIA?!" What the hell is she doing over there in her condition?" Dexter said. "Dex, calm down." " She's with Kiyanna She'll be OK." But Jones's words would fall on deaf ears as Dexter had already blasted off from the rooftop of Omnicorp and heading to Century Park.

A stage had been set up just at the foot of the giant marbled Captain Pinnacle Statue. A perfect setting for the Millennium city's surviving son. Dexter was just landing near the press cameras. He could hear the mumbling throughout the crowd. But his search was not for the surviving son of Millennium City, He was searching for Mia. Just as he began his search, Jones was also landing and dismounting his air cycle. "Do you see her?" Dexter said frantically searching about the area. Jones got directly in his good friend's ear. "Dex you're making a scene." "Calm down will you!" Dexter knew his good friend was right, and as soon as he calmed himself, he could see Mia and Kiyanna heading toward them from the south bicycle path. He made a move to approach her, but she waved him off not to. If he had come over to her, there would have been far too many questions to answer, and neither of them needed that type of press. When she had gotten closer to the press area, she and Kiyanna had split up. Kiyanna made her way over to Jones and Dexter. "She is fine Dexter." "Do not worry," Kiyanna said under breath. As Mia took her place among her press and media colleagues, She and Dexter continued their eye contact. Then an all to familiar sound could be heard in the distance had broken their gaze. Perhaps a missile. Perhaps a low flying speeding plane, but the blur of old fashioned blue and white told everyone who was about to make the scene. Captain Pinnacle was about to make his dramatic entrance.

Pinnacle halted his flying instantly just above the torso of his own statue, and slowly began his descent downward with his arm folded across his chest. His long white and gold cape danced against the afternoon breeze. As he got closer He could hear the great cheers and applause as the surviving son of Millennium City had returned. " So that's Captain Pinnacle." Dexter finally said. "Yeah." "It's been a minute," Jones replied. "Where do you suppose he's been all this time?" "Honestly Dex, my best guess is nowhere." "He's probably been here in town all along."

Arnold was trying his to remain calm, and wrap his understanding around what he was seeing, as he continued to stare at his great mentor's new form. "Dr. Grafter?" "Is that you?" He finally pushed out. "Yes, it is Arnold". "It is me" Grafter had said looking at himself in his full-length mirror. "So Arnold what do you think?" " Dr.Grafter, where did you get that outfit from?" "What was wrong with the other one we made?" We worked so hard on it." But what Grafter's lackey failed to realize was his mentors taste for revenge for Drake. His desire to rid the world of Drake had grown into a large festering ball of hatred. The "other suit," as Arnold referred to it, was nothing more than their feeble attempt to duplicate Drakes alien technological bio-suit. "What are you saying, Arnold?" Are you telling me that you don't approve?" Grafter said moving closer to him. Arnold's immediate response was to back away, judging by the crazed look about Grafters face, but in doing so, he found himself stumbling over the already trashed command center. Grater, Using his newly acquired stinging tentacles to grab hold of his lackey's body, he instantly began to drain his life source from his body."You think much too small Arnold." Grafter said as he continued to drain his men-tees body." Surely you can see how valuable this new suit can be." But, Arnolds now limped dead body dangled from the uncanny grip of his mentor's energy-draining tentacles, and Grafter's words would go unheard.

As Pinnacle began to speak, he spotted Dr.Jones, and Millennium city's latest metahuman, the Sentinel, standing in the rears, away from the press. Jones, he knew all about, but as far as the Sentinel, he needed to let him know, that he was back and prepared to regain his place as Millennium City's Champion. "I see that we are graced with the presence of the Sentinel this afternoon," Pinnacle said into the microphones. "Maybe he'd like to join me on the stage." At first, Dexter had begun to feel a sense of honor, but as he levitated just above the crowd and press, and began moving towards the stage, a sense of uneasiness had overtaken him. He couldn't figure out what, or even why, but something was just not right. As he continued to make his way up towards the stage. He could hear the mumblings of the crowd. Who was stronger, who was faster, who was the better hero for Millennium City, but he ignored all of it as he landed next to the Captain.  Pinnacle was a few inches taller than Dexter, and of course with more body mass. As he, Pinnacle, continued to speak to the crowd of onlookers, his words of comfort and hope had come forth. He spoke about the heart of Millennium City and how he was very sorry that he had let the city down during the lawsuit. He then turned his attention onto Dexter. He shook his hand firmly as would any politician would have done, trying to run for a public office, but only time would tell if all he stated would truly come to pass.
