After seeing Harmony Stacy didn't want anything to do with the sweater. She drove to Anna's house from the address that Jake gave her. She was going to type the coordinates into the GPS in her car but Stacy remembered exactly where Anna lived and had the address memorized. Anna lived in the type of house that Stacy one day planned to own. Snow was falling down hard and she was losing view behind her as she drove.

From the short message that Jake sent her it was obvious it was about him as he didn't give her any information as to why Dad was looking into Anna's life. She was hoping to talk to Jake about the pictures that their dad had shown her and their mom. She knew he was having issues with Anna following him so that was the only thing that seemed to be on his mind. He didn't ask about the pills she mentioned to him so hopefully Anna hadn't given him any when they were together. She was sure Jake would have mentioned something about them. Stacy wanted to give Anna the benefit of the doubt, knowing that Harmony liked to stir up drama, but she had to inform him what she'd been told out of love for her brother. It just wasn't really dire to keep harping on about it, she decided.

Stacy didn't even know if Anna was heading back home or not because Jake was driving to Brittany's. If Anna was heading back to her house, she still had a day's drive and most likely wouldn't be there still. If nobody at all was home she planned to leave a note so she could continue on her trip with a clear mind. She just hoped that Jake didn't mess things up for her with Anna. Harmony she could do without but knew she was with Bryce so didn't have to worry about running into her again. Stacy knew it shouldn't please her that she could feel Harmony's animosity towards her for winning the modeling contest for the trip, but it did. For Harmony to go after Skyler to get back at her made her feel sick. Now Harmony's new interest was for Anna's island so she dropped Skyler from her thoughts. It didn't matter now for Harmony branded him forever by just touching him. Stacy drove without much traffic around because most people went home to be indoors during the storm.

She knew she should tell her parents about dropping the sweater off at Anna's before she left but since both knew Anna wasn't home, thought it would be a bad idea. They would have argued the point and been angry with her for going without her Dad. Not to mention taking the sweater out of the box her mother wrapped her in. She didn't want to start the trip on a bad note so she decided not to mention it until she got back. It wasn't like it was a lie unlike when she told her parents she was no longer a virgin. That was a secret she was going to keep forever so she didn't break her Dad's heart that she lost her virginity at the age of fifteen.

(thick thick thick thick snow....)

It was getting dark quickly and she couldn't remember the drive being so long when Jake had dropped Anna off. There were only a few houses near Anna's home so there wouldn't be very many cars to come to her rescue if she were to get stuck in the snow. She wasn't even sure anyone would hear her as the houses were all the size of mansions. The hill also seemed to be steeper during the day than it was in the dark. She remembered the hill but at the time she was mauling Anna with questions and was paying more attention to her than the scenery. So many emotions she had experienced at the time as she had been fascinated over the magnificent sweater she borrowed to distract Anna from asking for it back. Now she wished she would have handed the sweater over to Anna before they pulled out of the driveway.

Even though Stacy had driven on the mountain roads to get to Anna's house it seemed to be only a few moments had passed that the thick snow made it even harder to drive. She saw that she was just yards away from Anna's address. To turn back would be pointless as she couldn't even see behind her in her mirrors or barely inches from the front of her car. Driving over the side cliffs of the road was now a threat. The big light balls of trees on Anna's property were the only things that guided her to Anna's house.
