Ch 110 (kyle)- We're Looking Baby Girl

Kyle went back to office to look up personal information on the list that Alicia provided to get addresses and such. He had spent the morning with his beautiful wife. They laid out a plan of action so she felt confident that everything possible was being done to find their daughter.

Kyle had left a message with Bryce but hadn't heard from him yet. He didn't think there was going to be much to get from him but since he had been Harmony's shopping partner, she might have told him something to give him a clue to what happened to Stacy. Kyle couldn't imagine that Bryce could have hurt Stacy because their families had gone through the same schools together. Kyle had grown up with Bryce's father. Although their kids didn't spend much time together out of school, they were all friends in what was then a much smaller school class. Bryce was following his father's footsteps in the plastic surgery field, but Kyle wondered if Bryce was as rough as his dad was when they were in school. He remembered Bryce's dad's temper when it got ignited. Kyle hoped Bryce and Harmony hadn't done anything to Stacy or he would discover his own temper and rip their lives apart like paper. These fears weren't something Kyle had to share with Alicia until he had to... if he had to.

Kyle headed to work but as he pulled into the lot he got a call from a Sherriff in Utah. At the identification on his phone, his stomach dropped into his shoes and Kyle felt heavier than an anchor tied around his ankle pulling him down to the bottom of the ocean would have. After a few minutes of talking to the Sherriff, Kyle felt relieved that Jake was alive and well then explained what was going on. After getting off the phone with him, Kyle was even more worried that Anna was going to try and kill his son. He wanted to put him on a plane immediately, but knew his son wasn't going to leave his truck that he worked so hard to buy. To Kyle it was just a material thing that could be replaced for life was more precious than metal. Anna's mental stability was as unstable as some of the mental patients he had to deal with occasionally when their local hospital had a breakout.

Kyle waited in his truck feeling emotionally exhausted as he waited for his son's call. That Anna had caused an accident with Brittany upset him as if she had done it to his own daughter. After finding out Anna had taped a skunk onto the bottom of Jake's truck, he began to worry even more. Kyle knew Jake could handle himself, but the element of surprise even caught the most skilled off guard. At least he knew where Jake was and that he was doing alright. But his stomach felt torn up and foamy with acid not knowing where his daughter Stacy was.

The sweater gone from its box had upset Kyle greatly but he wasn't all that surprised. Stacy didn't understand the value of money the same way he and Alicia did so taking such an expensive sweater was based more on how it made her feel and not how much it cost. Kyle groaned not wanting to believe any harm had come to her especially by schoolmates. He didn't tell Jake that the sweater was gone yet because he didn't want to worry him until he got more information. Kyle needed Jake to focus on driving and Anna. The last thing he needed was for Jake to blow up at Anna and make things worse.

Kyle grabbed his case and headed into the back way to get to his office without being stopped. He headed straight to Karla's desk.

"Now it could be coincidence that Colin lived in two states that had victims killed by same killer. The things I have matching up look devastating. He has pretty much sold everything to invest into an island he bought two years ago. It seems that has been all he has focused on. He just recently sold a resort in Switzerland that was in his family for several generations. The Washington house was just literally recently given to a Nate Bolger."

"Holy shit."

"Yep the same Nate Bolger that owns one of the resorts in California whose name that Colin had added to his titled ownership a few years ago. Nate runs and now fully owns the resort."
