Stacy was so excited that her Dad had changed his mind about letting her go on her trip. She thought it was going to much bigger of a fight so she had a longer speech if she needed it but she could tell by her father's eyes half way through that he wasn't going to fight that hard. It made her wonder if it was because he wanted to know more about Anna, and Stacy would be willing to give her the information if they weren't fighting.

On the floor at the end of her bed she placed the three bags that contained what covered her needs for the next few days. She had to reduce it down to three because of her planned shopping trip the next day.

Stacy was stressed out that her Dad wanted to talk to Anna. It was funny that Anna was following Jake, but she hadn't heard more from him since after he was on his way to the casino. She knew something else was going on that her dad wasn't telling her why he wanted to talk to Anna even after he threatened that he'd be extremely angry if she leaked anything out. She wouldn't but she was more than curious about what Anna was a part of or had gotten herself into.

Stacy was almost fully packed. Alicia walked into Stacy's room just as she was finishing her packing to check on her, Stacy knew. Alicia hated when anyone in the family fought, but mostly that she had to side against her daughter. Stacy knew how to use guilt against her mother for a long time, but she wasn't mad now that her Dad let her go, so there was no need to be a jerk to either of her parents.

"Can you believe that girl Jolene Mom?" Stacy asked surprised.

"I know. I can't believe that girl looks like you either." Alicia said shaking her head in wonderment.

"Dad was really freaked out also."

"Can you imagine how Dad felt when he walked in to see her like that? I would have thought it was you at first, I'm not even sure my panic would have allowed me to focus and see that it wasn't, at first." Alicia added.

"That poor girl so young and she had babies." Stacy said.

"Yes. I don't know much about the case other than what they said on TV and besides what Dad told us, but I am confident that Dad and his team will find the killer." Alicia said then made sure she made Stacy focus on her with her next words.

"I can't stress enough Stacy, that the reason your dad and I agreed not to expose you kids to his cases is because of your dreams and because it is a private safety matter. It's safety for us as well as safety for the victim until they can catch the killer."

"Mom I promise I understand." Stacy said quietly.

Anna's sweater was lying on the chair next to her open suitcase. Stacy saw her mom staring at it.

"So your dad saw the price on the sweater huh, I am surprised he didn't have a heart attack." Alicia laughed.

"By the loudness of his voice when he called out the price, I thought he was." Stacy said making Alicia laugh.

"Can I try it on?" Alicia asked with a glint in her eyes.

"Yes, only if you promise not to take it." Stacy said with a smile.

"Of course I won't. I just want to feel it." Alicia laughed. Stacy nodded.

"It is so beautiful. The color, the design, and the cut are perfect." Alicia said picking up the sweater.

"I know. It is like money buys extra effort in the craftsmanship. Nobody wants to do as good as job for less money." Stacy replied.

Alicia held it to her and looked at Stacy.
