"This is the grandest kitchen I have ever seen." Stacy said to cover her nervous energy.

"Yeah it's a big place. I apologize for the lack of attendance of our staff, but I sent them home so I could have a peaceful week while everyone is away. I forget that I am alone as I am use to them being here while I am home. This house just feels so giant and empty without their voices." Colin stated then smiled. Stacy noticed he barely took his eyes from her but it no longer made her feel shy. He was very charming and comfortable to be around.

"Have you eaten dinner?" Colin asked. He looked out the window and Stacy followed. The snow was so heavy that they couldn't see anything but fat snowflakes falling next to the window.

"No not yet. I was going to drive for a while before having to stop to get fast food." Stacy said not exactly lying about her plans.

"That food will kill you if you eat too much of it. I thought Anna would be home already so I have nobody to talk to. I even have all of this fruit to make a heather dissert but nobody to share it with. My chef isn't here and left me with so much food that I won't be able to get through and I'd hate for any of it to spoil. Are you sure you can't spare an hour, are you in a hurry?" Colin asked.

Stacy thought about it for a moment as he waited his eyes felt like they memorized every detail of her even if they never left her eyes. She wanted to know this man better. He seemed really sweet and so beautiful that she had a hard time looking away from him. He looked much younger than what his age must be. And the best of all, he was really into her. It would be hard for Stacy to say no to him. What was one hour out of her schedule anyway? Her friends knew there was a heavy storm and Stacy wouldn't head towards them unless it was safe. They knew she would catch up with them so they wouldn't worry.

"No, I guess I'm not. Sure, I'll eat dinner with you. I don't even have to be on a schedule until tomorrow so I can be late tonight. The only thing that worries me is the roads. I may not have a choice as I could barely see on my way up and from these windows the snow looks as big as tea cup saucers." Stacy said trying to sound like she was sophisticated enough to drink tea in a chinaware. She floated in Colin's happy satisfied smile.

"Do you want a drink?" He asked innocently.

"Oh no thank you, I have to drive still."

"No worries on that. The roads are too dangerous to drive on right now anyway like you said, so you might have to wait until the snow stops which should be enough time for the alcohol to leave your system." Colin said as he started to pull things from the cupboards.

"Ok, just one." Stacy said destroying any fight she would have with herself to be against it.

"That's my girl. Now have a seat and tell me about your life while I make you the best fruity concoction you've ever had. There isn't much alcohol in it so you won't feel bogged down by it. It's Anna's and Harmony's favorite drink." Colin said. That just made Stacy want to try it more so she felt like a Princess that the girls obviously were treated like.

Stacy started telling Colin about her goals and the stops she was planning to make as she drove down alone. She should have told him that she was meeting girlfriends but thought that it would look more like a slumber party than an adult thing to do. If he trusted Anna to drive alone, then she needed to look as responsible. Her dad never would have allowed her to be alone for very long because he was so paranoid.

While Stacy talked she took the Purple Passion drink that Colin had set in front of her. He had put a little whip cream on it and topped it with a maraschino cherry. It looked so incredibly wonderful and tasted even better. No wonder why Anna and Harmony liked them so much. Again she felt jealous at the lucky life the girls had. Stacy wanted even more than anything to be included and close to this family. Colin made her feel special which was probably why Harmony felt so protective of him. Stacy had overheard conversations between Anna and Harmony a number of times which told Stacy that Harmony saw Colin as something much more than a father. Stacy was disgusted by the thought but after seeing Colin she definitely changed her opinion and understood Harmony's desire to have him.
