With a body that felt like it was made of steel and bullets for it was heavy and could explode internally at any moment, Colin was afraid to move or roll over on his bed. Out his window he could see the snow started falling again so he wasn't able to tell what time of the day it was. Panic set in as he realized he slept through the night and past the morning. Nate had left before he fell asleep, so he knew he was again alone in the house. According to the clock, it was a few hours after noon. Missing breakfast and lunch wasn't what upset him, but missing the hours of the day did. He had planned on burying Tessa during the early hours and now would have to wait until tonight which was only prolonging the procrastination.

Colin sat up and swung his legs off the bed to fight the nausea. His body still felt heavy and weak, yet he couldn't help being in love with the burn the muscles felt after exercising them even if it was trekking to areas of Washington territory. It was almost too much to handle, and he knew he should rest for a few days, but knew he was running out of time to escape. He had to focus on getting Anna home Godspeed.

The box with Stacy's belongings was missing from the kitchen counter so he was sure Nate had taken it with him when he left. With the sweater gone, it showed that Stacy hadn't even made it to Colin's house.

With a towel in his hand he headed to the swimming pool and hot tub that was open to the outside patio area on the side of the house during the summer. It had a different view of the valley but with more private garden walls for naked sunbathing.

For the winter, especially like one today, the special glass walls closed the pools off from the patio and central heat flew into the room as well as into the water. Through the clear glass Colin could look outside without having to feel the outside cold. He flipped a switch on the little remote in his hand to switch the glass walls into mirrors that reflected images of the inside room blocking the outdoors out completely for complete privacy. He was sick of seeing the winter shed its dandruff as his blood hadn't yet warmed up since he had gotten back from burying Stacy.

The mirrors mocked him. Even though he was still toned, he was reminded that he was losing more weight than he wanted to. With another switch on his remote Colin changed the mirrored walls into a constant flow of a gorgeous Eden with sounds of nature flowing through the tiny speakers on the corners of the room. He had several active scenes programed into the wall's system but that one was his favorite.

Colin dropped the remote, his towel and robe onto a plush lounge couch in the corner of the room. Then he dove into the pool like jumping from a plane into the air. He swam for a few laps before he gave into floating in what seemed like a giant isolation tank on top of the world. Again, he was grateful to have this quiet time alone for he didn't have the chance to spend real private time with himself often.

Having enough of cloud light water, he headed into his hot tub to help relax the muscles of his body. After the few hours of bliss Colin stepped into one of the side rooms provided for the pool area and showered quickly with cooler water. His body had finally warmed up and felt refreshed. It had been a while since he had eaten so was grateful when the rumbling matched the want.

Dressed in just a towel and boxer briefs under it, Colin headed to his kitchen. He knew he should have grabbed his robe, but had he had set a pair of clothes on the side table which he slipped on the sweatpants while dropping the towel on a rack inside the kitchen. Colin didn't want to leave it in the laundry of the pool room since Christine wasn't here to clean up after him and he had to clean up his own messes while he was alone.

The kitchen provided him with the comfort his eyes desired, but his stomach was only fooled to catch up. Colin made a giant sandwich that his brain wanted but his stomach felt too small to house it even though it had been chewed into small bites. He was only able to eat half of it before his belly sent warnings that there was going to be an episode.
