Chapter 1 (tragedy)
I sit there, in a pool of blood crying my eyes out. "Teegan, please wake up.!!" I thought as I cried to myself holding her in my arms. That's my sister laying there with her eyes closed and blood everywhere. "Teegan please!" I cry even harder.
I grab my phone and quickly dial 911. How could this be happening? Teegan was not only my sister, but my best friend. That day December 17, 2011 was one of the most tragic days of my life. Now I'm 17 and a junior in high school.
My name is Scottland Mac. I used to be your average high school girl, but nobody knows. I'm depressed, I cut, and I have an eating disorder. My parents blame me for the death of my sister Teegan. We got into a car accident and she died and I didn't. Sometimes I wish that I died instead, she had everything I didn't. She didn't deserve to die. My parents live and try and act like everything is okay for my little brother Trevor and my little sister Noelle, we all know our family isn't the same though. Teegan was like the knot that held us together now that she's gone my parents don't know anything. Even my best friend Hunter doesn't know about anything.
