Chapter 18 (Forever? Or could one mistake change it all?)

Hayden and I have been dating for 8 months now. Can you believe it?! I sure can't.

Let me fill you in.

Hayden's dad keeps showing up, and Hayden keeps rejecting him.

I don't blame him though I mean his dad messed up.

I've been thinking a lot of Trinity and how I still miss her, but I'm happy and that makes me feel good.

I haven't cut of made myself bleed in over a month, I started trying to eat more so I'm in recovery of "curing" my anorexia. It's been a pretty good 4-5 months.

Hayden is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I can't imagine life without him anymore. He's always there for me. He knows when I'm sad or days when I'm especially missing Trinity. It's nice to have someone know you so well.

Hayden's POV

Since meeting Scottland I've been so much happier and so much more open.

My dad keeps showing up and that is pissing me off, but Scottland knows what to do to make me feel better.

Quinn is just a happy little 6 year old. I haven't told her about dad because I don't want to have to say why she can't see him yet.

He really screwed up and I'm not ready to forgive him or to let him see Quinn again. I don't know if I'll ever be ready. But it's my choice and my decision.

Scottland's POV

Hayden's dad knows me now I guess or I've seen him when he stops by to try and see Quinn. He seems to be lost and confused. I don't know. I know what it's like to feel lost and confused and miss someone. I don't know what it's like to make a mistake and keep getting rejected though. But from what I've heard he deserves it.

"Scottland!"

"Hey Quinn."

"Can we play dolls now??"

"Yes in like 15 mins okay I have to finish this English paper."

"Okay" she said with a smile and skipping away.

I get back to work.

Suddenly, I don't feel so good. I run to the bathroom and throw up. What the hell? I think to myself.

I call Hayden.

"Hayden. I just threw up."

"Really? I'll be home in 10."

"Okay." I hang up.

I go upstairs and change into comfy clothes.

"Scottland!!!" I hear Hayden yell as he's walking through the door.

I walk down stairs slowly.

"Hayden."

"What's wrong?"

I lead him out to the car.

" We need to get a pregnancy test."

"Okay let's go." He looked nervous.

We go to the drug store and buy 2. Just in case.

when we get home I go right to the bathroom to take it.

10 mins later I see 2 lines show up. I look at the box.

1 line means no

2 lines means congratulations! You're pregnant!!

Shit.

I walk out of the bathroom.

"Soo?" Hayden said getting off the coach.

"I'm pregnant." Tears start flowing down my eyes.

Hayden runs over and gives me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

"We're Going to be okay," he said pulling me closer "we can get through this Scottland. I promise."

Okay game plan.

Adoption? Keep? I don't know what to do! I'm only 17.
