Chapter 7
Since Hayden said that a lot of people actually want to help me and be my friend I've looked at life differently for the past couple of weeks.
I realized maybe sometimes you have to open up a little space for people to be let in. I've been so afraid of getting hurt for so long and it seems like Hayden is willing to do anything to help me.
I cut and harm myself because it makes me feel connected to Trinity. Sitting in her blood the night she died hurt so much and made me feel so alone, now every time I see my own blood it makes me feel like Trinity is still here and I'm not alone.
Even though I know I'm alone.

It's Monday. Ugh.
I walk into school, than suddenly Hayden, Hunter, and a lot of other people come to me to say hi.
"Hey Scottland."
"Uh hi. What is this??" I ask
"Remember HSOC?"
"Oh right I forgot."
"No worries. Scottland this is Josh, Ben, Sam, Dylan, and Matt."
"Hey Scottland nice to meet you." they all say.
"It's nice to meet you guys too!" I say with a smile
"What Hannah said to you wasn't cool. She's a bitch. We know about your sister and what happened 3 years ago. We are so sorry, but we want to be your friends." Dylan says.
"Thank you so much guys. It means a lot to me."
"Of course!!" they say with a smile.
As we walk to first period, which I have with Hayden, Matt, and Dylan we see Hannah.
"Aw. Oh look. Scottland finally found some people who 'care' about her." she laughs.
Than she pauses and her facial expression changes.
"Dylan McKenna?? Why are you friends with that little slut? I mean your one of the most popular guys in this school beside Hayden, which obviously he's made his choice, but why waste your time on this loser?!" she glares at me.
"Hannah, the only slut or bitch around here is you. I don't care about popularity! Scottland is an amazing girl and I'm lucky to be her friend." he says with a glare.
"Popularity doesn't matter? Has she gotten to your fucking head?? Are you crazy?? It's everything in high school.!"
"No Hannah unlike you, I have poise and I'm actually human and not fake or a dick like oh yeah your boyfriend Evan Jones. You and him are perfect because your both fake as fuck and you are just so easy. That's why he's dating you. Leave Scottland alone or we'll make your life a living hell. And you can count on that." Dylan said firmly.
"I hope you know you just ruined your reputation. Dylan McKenna you're officially a dead beat."
"Better than a good for nothing whore!" he yells.
Hannah's face turns BRIGHT red. Tears fall from her eyes and she runs away.
"Thank you Dylan. You didn't have too."
"Hey," he said giving m a hug. "I wanted too." He said with a smile.
HSOC means everything to me now. I actually have friends since Trinity, and I actually think I have something to be happy about.
I don't want to get ahead of myself though, I don't want to get hurt. I will not loose anything else I love.
Trinity I promise. I will live for you, love for you, and learn how to be okay without you.
Even though I don't know if I can.
