I've got demons, can't see them
I've got secrets, can't leave them
Got a lot of time and not a lot of money
I've got some will, won't be enough
Have some knowledge, far too unwieldy
Buried under a mountain of selfishness and doubt
Not here to scare you away
Not here to beg for sympathy
No sugarcoating here, this man is unstable, insecure
The challenge, it truly is daunting
But the rewards, do you want them?
Do you believe that broken people can be fixed?
I don't want the wool on my eyes anymore
I want to be fixed, be alive and well
What is the cure? Do you have it?
I'm leaving the cave, but I don't know the exit
I can't do it alone, can you help me?
Because I don't know if I have it in me to make it through
Please tell me you're here
Please tell me you can pull me from my lethargy
The demons, they don't want you, for they're scared
Of your light, your power
Of what you have and what you can do
What can you do? Can you help me beat the bastards?
I'm trying to stop myself
I'm trying to break the curse
I want to be free of the bars that trap me
This won't be quiet, there will be blood
Pain, sacrifice, I guess you knew that already
And I don't know how long this war will last
But can you? Do you want to?
Can you help me?
Can you be there for me, please?
