CHAPTER 38: Cuddles

Tyler's POV ~

I just finished school and drove home.
I went inside and looked for Josh. He wasn't downstairs or in the kitchen.

I walked into the living room and he was facedown and half way on the couch half way on the floor, past out. I want to move him into a better position but I refrain from doing so.. I don't want to wake him up.

I sit in the reclining chair and go on my phone.

I hear the front door opening. Josh is still asleep. I quietly run out of the room and meet momma dun in the hallway. I put a finger up to my mouth to signal for her to keep quiet.
"Why what's going on?" she whispered. "Josh is asleep." I whispered back. She let out a sigh of relief.

She follows me to living room and sees the way Josh is sleeping. She smiles and walks into the kitchen to start supper. I go with her.
"Do you need any help?" I asked quietly. "That'd be lovely thank you sweetheart."

Josh was still sleeping when it was done. We didn't wake him cause he needs sleep. Me and momma dun ate in silence, it was a comfortable one tho. When we were done I started helping her with the dishes.

"NOOOO! STOP IT!" Josh screamed. Me and momma dun looked at each other with wide eyes and put the dishes we were cleaning down, running into the living room. Josh was curled into a ball on the floor and crying... He was still sleeping tho.

As much as we didn't want to wake him we did because he was having a nightmare.

"Josh! Wake up!" I yelled shaking his shoulder. He jolted awake with a scream, his eyes wide and filled with tears. His breaths quick. I grabbed onto his arms."Josh shhhh your okay." I said. He looked at me panting and laid back down, running his hands down his face and rolling onto his side with his hands still over his face.
He made a whiney noise as he did.

"I hate this!" he screamed into his hands. I gave momma dun a sad look and gently rubbed Josh's back. After a few minutes he rolled onto his other side facing me. He looked up at me through his hands.
"Sorry." was all he said. "Why are you sorry?" I asked playing with his hair. "For yelling." he said moving his hands away from his face and sitting up. He gave me a hug.

"Are you hungry?" momma dun asked him. He shook his head no as he still clung to me."okay well I'm going to go finish the dishes... You can stay with him Tyler." she said walking out to the kitchen.

"Tyler?" he whispered. "Yes Joshie?" I said back. "I'm tired... I want to go back to sleep....I'm probably not going to be able to tho.... Can we go down to our room and cuddle?" he asked. "Yes of course.. Lets go." I said getting up and then helping him up.

We went down into the room and he pulled me against him. I drew little shapes on his arm that was around me. "That tickles." he said. "Your ticklish everywhere." I replied.

He sighed and pulled me up to sit on his lap. I straddled him and wrap my arms around his neck as he pouts. "What?" I asked. "I'm tired." he groans. "Do you want to try to sleep again?"

"I guess... Can you stay with me though?" he asked. I nodded and laid my head on his chest. "Sing to me.. Please?" he said with his eyes closed.
I smiled and started singing 'let it go' by James Bay. (shout out to Galaxy_Heathen for the song suggestion...lol thanks)

"Your voice is so beautiful Ty." Josh said after I finished. I blushed. "I don't think so but thanks." I said. "Nonsense. Your voice is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard." he said. "I think I suck." I told him.

"Ty sit up." he said and I did. "Don't do that." he said once I had "don't do what?" I asked. "Don't Put yourself down. You are amazing. Your beautiful and kind and your so many other things I can't put it into words how much I love you or How perfect you are. I just love everything about you... so please don't say stuff like that about yourself." he said while using his hand to cup the side of my face.

I didn't say anything.. I couldn't.. Something about what Josh had said made tears form in my eyes. I couldn't think of how to answer him so instead I leaned down and kissed him, the kiss was full of love and passion. I felt a few tears fall during the kiss but I ignored them.

I only pulled away when I needed to breathe. He used the pads of his thumbs to wipe away the tears rolling down my cheeks.

"I love you." he whispered. "I love you too." I whispered back laying back on his chest. We laid like that for a while before I realised he had fell asleep. I quietly got up, put pjs on and took off his jeans and shirt so he wouldn't be too warm or uncomfortable while he slept. I placed a kiss to his forehead and cuddled up next to him falling asleep as well.

A/N ~ I'm in the mood to just eat a shit ton of chocolate and candy... I don't have any tho.. Looks like I'm making a trip to the store. Love you! Bye❤
