CHAPTER 17: I Promise.

Josh's POV ~

Me and Tyler fell asleep cuddling and watching movies. It was now around supper time mom was almost done cooking it so she came downstairs to get us.

I had my arms around Tyler as his head laid on my chest. "....Josh?" my mom walked in slowly waking us both up. "Hmm" I said while rubbing my eye with the hand that wasn't around Tyler. "Whats going on here?" she asked in a amused voice. "Huh?" I looked at her and she looked at Tyler who had drifted back to sleep in my arms.

A blush crept across my face. "Um uh heh" was all I could mange to get out.
I moved my arm from around Tyler and slowly got up causing him to wake up again. "Jooooosssssshhhh noooo come back." he said in a whiney voice with his eyes still closed.

"Um mom can I talk to you upstairs for a moment." Tyler's eyes shot open when he heard me mention my mom. My mom stood by the door with a amused look on her face.
"Sure" she said simply but still amused.

She headed upstairs after I told her I'd be up in a sec. "Tyler do you mind staying down here for a few minutes while I talk to my mom" he shook his head. "No go do what you need to do."

"Thanks" I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran upstairs. My mom was waiting in the living room. "So what did you want to talk about?" she said as if she was completely oblivious to what just happened.

"Um well there's a few things I want to talk about." I said taking a seat on the couch next to her. "And they are?"

"Well I guess I should start with um I...." I took a deep breath "I'm gay."
I said biting my lip out of nervousness. "Okay that's fine." my mom didn't seem the slightest bit bothered. "Okay um next ... Me and Tyler are dating." my leg was bouncing up and down involuntarily.

"Okay ... He's such a sweet boy.. I like him a lot." she said smiling. Then she got really serious. "I want you to go get Tyler I want to talk to both of you"

I stood up "yes mom" I ran down to my room Tyler was still sat on the bed and when I came in he looked relieved. "Um mom wants you to come upstairs... She wants to have a talk with the both of us" he didn't look relieved anymore. "Its ok I'm sure its nothing" I say grabbing his hand and holding it tight. I didn't let go even after we sat down, I remained holding it.

"Hello Tyler." my mom stated happily "hi momma dun" he sounded very nervous. "Okay so I'm fine with you two dating I just have some rules... Okay?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and me and Tyler both nodded our head.

"Okay rule number one... If I'm home there is to be no 'sexual activities'.... I'm fine with cuddling and kissing just none of that other stuff." she said pointing her finger at us and we nodded. "Rule number two... When you guys are doing 'sexual activities' be safe... You know like protection and stuff." I could feel my cheeks heat up but I still nodded. "Rule number three.... You are both to take good care of each other understand me?"

"Yes." we both said at the same time
"Okay good.... Now who's hungry?"
"Me" Tyler said. "Good cause suppers done."

We walked out into the kitchen and sat down at the table while mom got us our food.

"So Tyler.... Do your parents know that your gay?" my mom randomly asked halfway through eating. "Uhh um well no ..not yet." he looked uneasy.

"When do you plan on telling them?"
Now Tyler just looked like he wanted to throw up. "Umm I don't know... I don't think their gonna take it well."

"Oh I see okay" the rest of supper was quiet. Nothing else was said until me and Tyler went down to my room.

"Are you okay?" I asked pulling him onto my lap once I sat down on my chair. "yeah... Just trying to figure out how I'm going to tell my parents...... I'm scared to tho." I reached my hand up to his face as a single tear rolled down his cheek and I wiped it away. "It's gonna be okay. Don't worry about it.. No matter what happens I'll always be here.. I'm not going to leave. Whether your having the worst day of your life or the best day I will not leave you. Even if we get in a fight... I will not leave.... That is unless you want me to. Whenever you need me I'll be here okay?"

"Promise?" he said while leaning into my hand a bit "I promise." I said leaning in to give him a kiss and he immediately kissed back.

The kiss was passionate and delicate, caring and loving, slow and meaningful.

When we pulled away Tyler continued to hug me so I slowly stood up being careful not to drop him and laid on the bed bringing Tyler as close to me as possible.

"Want to watch a movie?" I said softly
He nodded his head yes and I let him pick one. When he finally found one he liked I put it on and held him tightly.

He was slowly drifting off to sleep as I ran my fingers through his hair. I leaned down and pressed my lips to the top of his head whispering one last "I Promise." before drifting off to sleep myself.

A/N ~ Lowkey wishing that I had a boyfriend to cuddle and watch movies with. *spins around in computer chair* but that's probably not happening anytime soon so I'm just gonna go stuff my face with some pizza because pizza is the answer to everything. Love you! Bye❤
