CHAPTER 35: Roses

Josh's POV ~

Well me and Tyler have been going to therapy for 3 weeks which means me and him have been dating for 5 weeks. Every time we go one of us ends up crying before we leave but we've both been doing a little better since we started going. Rian, Sam and Brendon haven't been bothering me or Tyler since me and Rian got in that fight in the bathroom.
I've even been talking to Brendon a lot, he's actually pretty cool. My nose is pretty well healed, my black eye and bruises have faded, my ribs still hurt at times but its only if I move a certain way.

Anyway I want to do something special for Tyler this weekend... I just don't know what. Tyler's asleep right now, I should probably be asleep too its 5am.. I just can't sleep so I'm outside on the back step watching the sun rise.

Ooo.. I got an idea on how to start today. I grab the car keys and put my shoes on before heading out to the car and driving to the store.

Once I was at the store I went to the flower section and bought some roses for Tyler. Then I went back home.
I went downstairs and placed the roses on my pillow with a little note that says 'Good Morning beautiful! 💜' for him to find when he wakes up.

I jogged up the stairs as quietly as possible and started making waffles and bacon cause why not. I set the table with plates, forks, knifes and cups. I also put out some orange juice and maple syrup.

I was getting the last waffle out of the waffle maker when Tyler walked into the kitchen. It was about 7:30 ish. I put it on the plate and walked over to him, he had the roses in one hand and the note in the other. I stood in front of him with a smile on my face. He smiled at me and I gave him a kiss.

"Good Morning beautiful" I whispered. "Good morning handsome." he replied. I grinned. "Are you hungry? I made waffles and bacon." I gestured toward the food on the counter and he nodded.

He sat down at the table placing the roses and note down beside him as I put some food on both of our plates.
"Thank you Joshie." he said and I gave him a quick kiss "your welcome." I put the food we didn't take on the counter for my mom when she wakes up and sat down with Tyler.

"So Mr. Romantic anything else planned for today?" he asked taking a bite if his food. I smiled. "Maybe."

Shit what else can we do.... Shopping... Yeah we'll go shopping... Then out to lunch aannddd maybe we can go for a walk.. Yeah.. Then we can end the day by going to that little lake.

"Am I allowed to know what were doing?" he asked. "Nope." I said popping the 'p' and shaking my head.
He smiled and continued eating.

"You boys are up early." my mom said walking into the kitchen. "The food on the counter is yours." I informed her. "Oh thank you."

She sat down with us and looked at the flowers. "Aww you bought him flowers?" she asked. "Yep." I said taking a drink. "He also has more stuff planned for today.. I'm not allowed to know tho" Tyler said. "It's a surprise."

We finished eating and I washed the dishes, Tyler helped by drying them. After we went down our room, yes I said our it's not just my room anymore because Tyler lives here now so we share the room.

I threw on some skinny jeans and a T-shirt. Tyler put on similar skinny jeans and a light sweater.

We walked out to me and moms car, I opened the passenger side door for him then ran around and hopped in the drivers side. I drove us to the mall. After I parked and me and Tyler got out I grabbed his hand.

"Remember if you want to leave say truce." he whispered as we walked in. I nodded. "Pick a store... Any store." I said. He laughed lightly. "Um that one." he pointed to the one he wanted to go in.

Inside the store he found a few shirts he liked and I bought them for him. He tried to pay but I told him that I'm treating him to everything we do today no matter what he says.

We went into a few more stores before going to get something to eat.
After we ate we went back out to the car and I drove us to the park we went to the day after we met. We walked around for an hour or so just talking and messing around.

"You ready to go to the last stop of the day?" I asked while we walked back to the car. "Yep." he nodded.
I drove us to the path and grabbed a blanket out of the backseat for us to lay on. Then we walked down the path and placed the blanket down by the water.

"Today was perfect. Thank you so much Joshie." Tyler said after a while. "Your welcome baby." I said giving him a kiss. He tried to pull away thinking I only wanted a short kiss but I wasn't having it. I quickly pulled him back in laying him down as I did so. I supported myself over him with my arms as I kissed him.

His arms slung off my neck as his hands knitted through the hair at the back of my head. I pulled away for a second so we could catch our breath. I leaned my forehead against his. After a few seconds I went back to kissing him.

I kissed up his jawline then down his neck until I found his sweet spot and focused on that one section of skin making Tyler let out little gasps and moans which only encouraged me to keep going. After I was satisfied with the mark I left I moved back to his lips.

"So beautiful." I mumble against his lips. I kissed him for a few seconds longer before I pulled back a bit, "I love you." I said looking into his eyes. "I love you too ."
I smiled and laid down next to him he moved closer to me and I put my arm around him.

We feel asleep... I woke up to Tyler poking me. My eyes flutter open and it's pitch black out. I quickly sit up. "Shit what time is it?" I ask. "Like 9 something." he said standing up. Crap.
I fold the blanket up and the both of us run back to the car and drive home.

I had multiple texts and missed calls from my mom. We quietly came into the house in case mom was asleep. She wasn't as soon as we shut the door she turned the light on.

"Where on earth have you two been?"she asked sternly. I explained to her that we went to the lake and accidentally fell asleep. She told us it was okay and we all went to bed.

A/N ~ literally the only thing I've done today is write chapters for this book 👌. Its 2am and I have school in the morning so that's fun. Annnyyywwaayyy love you! Bye
