CHAPTER 41: Napkin Flicking Fight

Josh's POV ~

Okay so today I'm taking Tyler out. Just me and Tyler. We both need it. We haven't been on an actual date in a while. I'm going to take him to the amusement park that recently opened, then were going to go eat somewhere, maybe go for a walk and end the day at our little spot by the lake.

He's still asleep right now so I'm making him breakfast in bed. Bacon and waffles with cool whip and strawberries, also a glass of orange juice. After everything's cooked I put it on a tray and carefully carry it downstairs.

I set the tray down on the dresser and walk over to Tyler, I wake him up by placing tiny kisses all over his face. "Joshie sttoooppp." he wined. "Good morning beautiful." I said giving him one last kiss on the lips.

"I made you breakfast." I said and he perked up a bit. I smiled and placed the tray on his lap. "Thank you Joshie." he said. "Your welcome."

"I got a lot planned for today." I said taking a seat on the end of the bed. "Oo like what?" he asked with a mouth full of waffle. I smiled softly. "You'll see."

"Mmm I love it when you get all romantic." he said. "I know... Do you know what I love?" I questioned. "What?" he replied. "You."

"Josh Dun back at it again being cheesy." he said with a smile. "Oh hush you love my cheesiness." I grinned. "That I do Joshie."

"Josh?!" my mom yelled from upstairs. "What?!" I yelled back. "Come here!"

"I'll be right back." I said to Tyler before running out of the room and upstairs.

"Whats up mom?" I said once I entered the living room. "How about taking your siblings out to do something today so their not sitting around doing nothing all day." she said. "....oh.. Um.. I can't......" I said.
"Why not?"

"Because I'm taking Tyler out today.. I took them to the mall yesterday when I was supposed to take Tyler out so I'm taking him out today." I explained. "Oh I see. Well have fun on your date then." she said. "Okay."

I went back downstairs and Tyler was up getting dressed. The tray with the dirty dishes sat on the bed. I walked over and picked it up, took it upstairs and set it on the counter.

We got on our shoes and hopped in the car.

"Joosssshhhhhhh." Tyler wined for the 100th time since we got in the car. "Yes Ty?" I said already knowing what he's gonna ask. "Where are we going and when will we get there?"

"I told you it's a surprise so stop asking and it's like 5 minutes away." I said grabbing his hand. "But 5 minutes is too long." he wined again. "Patience baby."

Eventually we pulled into the amusement parks parking lot. "JOSH!" he screamed excitedly. I grinned while opening the car door. Tyler practically flew out of the car and started running toward the entrance.

"Tyler!" I yelled after him. He slowed to a stop. "What?" he asked. I reached my hand out and he rolled his eyes, walking back to me and grabbing my hand. I smiled.

I purchased our tickets and let Tyler drag me around to the rides he wanted to go on.
We walked around the whole park, went on a bunch of rides and played a few games. We finished the amusement park by going on the ferris wheel.

After we got off I took Tyler to a small restaurant to eat. While we were waiting for our food to arrive Tyler started flicking pieces of his napkin at me. He would rip a tiny piece of scrunch it into a little ball and flick it at my face.

"Hey stop that." I laughed. He grinned and flicked another and it hit me in the nose. "Really?" I asked. He giggled.  "Sorry I'm done now." he said. "Okay thank you."

A few minutes passed and I was looking out the window when something hit my cheek. I turned to look at Tyler who was trying to act innocent.

"Are you having fun?" I asked. "I don't know what your talking about." he said. "Your lucky Our foods here." I said as the waitress put our plates in front of us. "And why is that?" he said in a bratty tone. "Cause if it wasn't I would start a full on napkin flicking fight with you."

"Napkin flicking fight?" he laughed. "Yes." I said through a mouth full of food. "Bring it on dun." he said pushing his chair back slightly and flicking another napkin ball at me. "I'm trying to eattttt." I whined. "Fine."

We managed to get through the rest of dinner with Tyler only flicking 3 more napkin balls at me.

Were on our way to the park now. Were just going to walk around for a bit. Hand in hand we walked around the trail talking about nothing and everything.

I noticed the sun starting to set. "Shit!" I yelled and started running back to the car. "What!? Whats going on?!" he yelled running after me. We both jumped in the car. "Whats going on Josh?" Tyler asked as we started driving away from the park. "We have one last stop before the sun sets."

"The lake!" Tyler screamed as I parked the car. "Yup." I said getting out of the car. "I love it here!" he said before running down the path. I laughed and followed him.

I sat down on the grass and Tyler sat in between my legs with his back pressed to my chest. I had my arms wrapped around him.

"Thank you Joshie." Tyler said as we watched the sun disappear. "Your welcome Ty." I said pressing my lips to the back of his neck.

We stayed in the same position even after the sun was no longer in few and the sky turned dark.

"Today was perfect and I know I already said it but Thank you." he said turning around to face me. "Your welcome.... I just thought of something else we can do tonight." I stated. "Like what?" he tilted his head slightly. "Movies and cuddles."
He smiled and gave me a kiss. "Sounds perfect."

A/N ~ HEEYYYYYYYY I'm so not prepared for school this week. I'm pretty sure i have a midterm at some point but instead of studying im just gonna shove all my Easter chocolate into my mouth and sleep.
