CHAPTER 60: Take Care

Tyler's POV ~

Momma dun helped Josh get a job so for the last week he's been going to work right after school leaving me alone at his house with his family. I don't really mind cause their practically family to me. I kinda miss my family though.. Not my parents but my siblings.

"Hey Tyler you okay?" Jordan asked. "Yeah.. Just missing my brothers and sister." I said. "Oh..."

"I'm going to call them I'll be downstairs if anyone needs me." I said before heading to me and Josh's bedroom. I took my phone out and called Zack's phone.

"Tyler?!"
"Hey Zack."
"Hey! How have you been?"
"Pretty good actually.. What about you guys?"
"I mean It's okay but we really miss you... It's not the same without you here."
"I know. I miss you guys too.... Is dad still like yelling and stuff?"
"No he's okay."
"Well that's good."
"Yeah.."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing just really miss you.. I haven't seen you in a while."
"What are you doing right now?"
"Sitting in my room."
"Is mom and dad home?"
"Yeah their downstairs."
"Hmm..."
"What?"
"Get Jay and Mads and meet me outside in 10 minutes."
"Oh okay see you then."
"Bye."

I hung up, grabbed my keys and went to put my shoes on. "Tyler? Where are you going?" momma dun asked. "Uh to my house to pick up my siblings.. I'm going to take them out for a bit.. I'll be back later." I said, she nodded and I left.

10 minutes later I pulled up in front of the house and my siblings scrambled into the car. Once everyone was buckled I started to drive. "So where are we going?" Madison asked. "Um.... How does ice cream sound?" I asked looking at her their the rearview mirror. She nodded excitedly. I smiled.

"So how are you and Josh doing?" Zack asked. "We've had our rough patches but everything's okay as of now." I said. "Well that's good.... Hey did he give you that?" Zack asked pointing to the promise ring. "Yeah." I replied with a smile remembering how nervous he was when he gave it to me.

"... Is it a.. Y'know?" he asked. "No it's a promise ring." I laughed. He nodded. "Can I see?" Madison asked. "In a sec." I said pulling into a parking spot and parking the car. I turned around and held my hand out for her to see. She smiled. "It's sooooo pretty."

I nodded. "So ice cream yeah?" I asked opening the car door. "Yeah." Jay said. We got out and I bought us all ice cream. We sat on a bench outside and talked for a while. I felt my phone buzz and took it out.

Josh: where are you?
Mom said you went to your house
Are you okay?

Me: yes Josh I'm fine
I'm at the ice cream parlor with my siblings

Josh: oh okay
When will you be back?

Me: um I'm not sure

Josh: I miss you so hurry up :)

Me: I miss you too

Josh: hurry up and come home then

Me: I'll get there when I get there

Josh:   :(
I want you here now
I want to kiss you and hug you
I want to hold you in my arms

Me: ugh

Josh: take them here for a bit

Me: .. Okay

"Hey guys were going to go to Josh's for a bit okay?" I asked and they nodded. I drove us to Josh's and went inside. They followed me into the living room where everyone was watching tv.

Josh stood up and came over to give me a kiss. Then all my siblings and all Josh's made kissing noises. We pulled away and smiled at each other.

"Okay." I said clapping my hands together. "Momma dun, Jordan, Ashley and Abby these are my younger siblings Zack, Jay and Madison." I said pointing to each one of them. "It's nice to meet you." momma dun said.

Then Madison and Josh's sisters ran of to Josh's sisters room and Jordan and my brother's ran off to Jordans room. I turned to Josh. "I think their gonna get along well." I said and he chuckled.

Me and Josh then went down to our room. I laid on the bed and Josh hovered over me. "So what did you guys do?" he asked. "Well we went for ice cream And then we talked." I told him. "Oh and what did you talk about?"

"How their doing in school, whats going on with the family all that good stuff." I said. "Oh.. Sounds like your happy." he smiled. I nodded. "Oh and we talked about the ring you gave me.. Madison loves it."

"Mm well I love you." he said. "I love you too you cheesy dork." I smiled and gave him a kiss.

We both looked toward the door as it opened. "Hey uh mom wants us home now." Zack said. "Okay.. Josh you need to let me up now." I said. He pouted. "I don't wanna though."

I rolled my eyes and he moved so I could get up. I told him I'd be back soon then drove my siblings home.

My mom was standing at the door waiting when we arrived I said goodbye as they got out of the car and gave a little wave to my mom. She surprisingly waved back and also held up a finger telling me to wait a minute.

After all the kids were inside she walked over to the car. I rolled down the window. "So where did you take them?" she asked. "Out for ice cream then to Josh's for a bit. They got along really well with Josh's siblings." I said with small smile. "Okay... So your still with Josh huh?"

"Yes." I replied. She nodded. "So your doing okay then?" she asked. "Yes I'm great mom." she nodded again. "How about you mom? How are you doing?" I asked and she seemed a bit surprised that I had asked. "Oh I'm okay."

I nodded. "Well Josh is waiting for me to get back so we can go to sleep." I said and she nodded. "Okay... Take care." she smiled. "You too mom."

I gave a tiny wave and drove off. Why the hell was my mom suddenly being so nice?
