CHAPTER 64: Brendon's Over

Tyler's POV ~

They apologised. I can't believe they actually apologised. I'm still mad at them for what happened but I did accept the apology.

Me and Josh are currently sitting down by the lake. I'm sat on Josh's lap with my face buried in his shoulder. His arms wrapped around me.

"I love you Jish." I whispered in his ear. "I love you to baby." he whispered back gently kissing the side of my head. "Josh?" I asked. He hummed. "Do you ever think about... Like...."

"Think about what?" he asked. "Like.. What would have happened if we never met? Like where we would be, what we would be doing?" I questioned leaning back to look at him.

"Not really. I don't think I want to if I'm honest. If I didn't met you then.. The world wouldn't be worth living in." he answered. I smiled softly and got back in the position I was in earlier. Josh smelt good. I smiled.

"Joshie.. You smell good." I said. He chuckled. "Do I?" he asked. "Mhm." I said burying my head deeper into his shoulder, inhaling more of his scent.

"Your so precious." he said softly. I hummed, letting my eyes flutter shut. "Are you tired?" he asked. I nodded. He stood up and I clung to him so I wouldn't fall, he carried me back to the car.

I guess I fell asleep in the car and Josh carried me in because I'm in the bed now.

I don't know what time it is but it's dark out. I whine and search for Josh on the bed but he's not there. I don't want to get up but I want to find Josh. I would yell for him but I don't want to in case people are sleeping.

I found my phone on the nightstand and grabbed it, turning it on and being blinded by how bright my screen was. After a few minutes my eyes adjusted. 11 pm. I've been asleep for 3 hours. I decided to message Josh to see where he was.

Me: Joshie

Josh: yes beautiful?

Me: where are you?

Josh: upstairs why

Me: ugh

Josh: what

Me:   :(

Josh: whaattt

Me: I'm lonely

Josh: then come upstairs

Me: but I don't want to
I'm too comfy

Josh: do you want me to come get you and bring you up here?

Me: no I want you to come down and stay down with me

Josh: .....

Me: ?

Josh: Brendons over...

Me: ...oh

Josh: yeah

Me:   :(

Josh: just come upstairs

Me: no I told you I'm too comfy

Josh: do you want me to come get you? Ill come down and get you but We'll be coming back up stairs

Me:... Okay

I heard shuffling from upstairs then I heard someone running down the stairs and a few seconds later Josh came into the room.

He smiled. "You look adorable right now." he said. I blushed, looked away and brought my hand over my mouth. "No I don't I just woke up."

"Exactly you look adorable when you first wake up." he said now standing in front of me. I pouted. He ruffled my hair. "Come on." he said turning around so I could get on his back.

"Wait." I said and he turned around. "What?" he asked. "I want something comfy to put on." I said. He went to the closet and grabbed some Pj pants and a T-shirt and threw them on the bed. "I want your sweater." I pouted. He smiled and grabbed one of his sweaters.

I quickly changed and jumped on Josh's back. He carried me upstairs and plopped me down on the couch before sitting next to me.

"Hi Tyler." Brendon said from the chair. "Hi." I said shyly. Then I turned to Josh and cuddled up in his side. "How are you?" Brendon asked. I hid my face in Josh's chest. "M'fine." I mumbled. "Why are you being all shy? It's just Brendon." Josh said.

I stayed quiet. "Tyler answer me please." Josh said rubbing my back. "I'm not being shy." I whispered. "You are too." Brendon interjected. "Nuh uh."

Josh chuckled. "I'm just.. I don't know.." I said. "He's scared of me." Brendon said. "Is that was it is Ty? Are you scared of him?" Josh asked. I shook my head no then nodded yes.

"Oh Ty you don't need to be scared of Brendon." Josh said softly. "But he hurt me." I whispered. "I know he did. I know. But he's not like that anymore. He's not going to hurt you anymore."

I looked up at Brendon who gave a small smile. I returned it. "Hey there we go." Brendon beamed.

Josh and Brendon then talked for a while, I wasn't really paying attention to what was being said. I was staring at Josh contently. Watching his lips move as he talked and smiled, watching his eyes light up and crinkle. I slowly leaned forward and pecked his lips not being able to resist.

He turned to look at me, probably thinking I wanted something. I didn't. He raised his eyebrows in a questioning manner. "What?" I asked. "What was the random kiss for?" he asked. I shrugged.

He smiled and gave me another quick kiss before resuming his conversation with Brendon.

I woke up to Josh moving me off his lap and onto the couch. I whined as he left the room with Brendon. I heard them Say goodbye then the door closed. Josh came back into the living room a few seconds later. I don't think he realised I was awake. He sat down in the chair and went on his phone.

"Josh?" I whispered. He jumped and looked at me. "Oh. Hi baby." he said. "What time is it?" I asked. "1am."

"Oh. I'm hungry." I said sitting up and stretching. "Your hungry." he repeated. I nodded. "Well what do you want to eat?" he asked. I pondered for a second. "Umm. Pizza."

"You want pizza." he said and I nodded again. "We don't have pizza." he said. "Order one." I suggested. "Order a pizza at 1am. I don't think mom would appreciate someone knocking at the door in the middle of the night."

I frowned. "Fine then I want a bowl of cereal." I said. "Knock yourself out. You know where the Kitchen is." he said gesturing toward the door with his phone. I pouted.

"What?" he asked. " you should make it for me." I said. "Make you cereal? I'm pretty sure you can do that by yourself baby."

"But I don't wanna." I crossed my arms. He looked at me with an amused expression. "Why are you so whiney when you wake up?" he asked. "I'm not whiney." I said defensively. "Okay sure."

He got up and disappeared into the hallway. I waited patiently for him to come back, his sweater hanging loosely off my shoulders, due to me being smaller then him.

When he came back he handed me a bowl of cereal and kissed the top of my head. I thanked him and began eating.

"Can we watch tv?" I asked. Josh nodded and switched the tv on. When I was done my cereal I set the bowl on the floor and continued watching tv.

I looked over at Josh whose eyes kept fluttering shut before he'd open them again. I stood up and walked over to Josh he looked up at me tiredly. I picked up the remote and shut the tv off. "Lets go to bed." I whispered. Josh nodded.

We both went downstairs and crawled into bed. "Night Josh." I said snuggling against him. "G'night Ty."
