It’s Raining and You Do a Horror Movie Night With Him

Liam: You knew that once the rain drops were beginning to show on the bedroom windows that Liam would suggest the tradition you two had been keeping for a while now. “(Y/N)! I got the movie!” you hear him yelling into the flat, signaling that he was home. You ran downstairs in your plaid pajama bottoms and white tank top to find him in his plaid pajama bottoms and a hoodie, putting the umbrella in its usual spot and kicking off his wet boots. “Ooh!” you say, “What movie?” He gave you a devilish smile, knowing which horror movies you had been scared of when you saw the commercials or previews. “The Woman In Black. I figured since you had that Harry Potter obsession of yours, that you’d like to see Danielle Radcliffe in a different role,” he answered, leading you to the living room, where he placed the disk in the DVD Player and sat next to you on the couch. Throughout the movie, you couldn’t help but scream at exactly the right times and hide your face behind Liam’s arm when those nerve wracking moments would occur. He would simply laugh and mess up your hair, often kissing your forehead when the scenes got a bit too scary.

Louis: "How about this one?" Louis asked, holding up The Cabin In the Woods. You shook your head vigorously, the cover of the movie already scaring you. Louis knew better than to have you watch a horror movie with him. He knew that it would leave you sleepless for the night and scared of almost everything in sight. He smirked, getting up to go put the disk in the DVD player. “Really, Lou?” you say, pulling your knees to your chest and listening to the quiet patter of rain drops outside. “You’re cute when your scared, (Y/N),” he simply said, sitting back down on the couch and throwing an arm around you as the movie started. As usual, you freaked out and screamed when needed. At one point, you were hiding behind the couch in fear. “(Y/N)? Why’re you down there?” Louis asked, looking over his shoulder at you. He knew perfectly well why you were down there. “Oh, come on. It’s not that bad, come back up and I’ll cover your eyes when needed,” he reasoned, and eventually got you to come back on the couch. After a while, you said, “You’re right, Louis. This wasn’t so ba- Louis?” you questioned, realizing he wasn’t next to you anymore. You turned around and found him in the same spot as you had been before, with his knees hugged to his chest. You bit back a laugh as you looked at him. “You want me to turn the movie off? We could cuddle instead…” you suggested, and he was back on the couch in seconds.

Niall: "I mean, why can’t London have the same weather as America? I’d live there if their drinking age was the same as it is here in England and Ireland. I’m an Irishman, what can I say? I’ve got to have my beer and gin," Niall ranted as you cooked tomato soup on the stove. Even with your back turned to him and distracted, he continued to rant about the weather. You sighed and poured the soup in two bowls, handing him one and sitting across from him at the table. "Niall, how’s about we do something today?" you asked, brushing your frizzy hair out of your face. Niall seemed confused as he took a sip of his soup. "It’s raining, (Y/N). There’s  nothing to do,” he simply answered, obviously aggravated by the wet weather. You got up and walked to the living room, pulling out both yours and his favorite horror movie, Silent Hill: Revelation. An instant smile spread across his face when he saw you holding it up, and followed you to the living room where you spent the next few hours laughing, instead of screaming, at the scary parts.

Harry: "What to do… What to do…" you muttered, scrolling through some posts on Tumblr on a rainy day, reblogging the ones you found amusing, and saving the pictures of Harry and yourself that you had found cute. "I know what we could do," Harry said, kissing your neck. You rolled your eyes at your perverted boyfriend and closed your laptop, setting it aside. "Yeah, me too. Watch a horror movie!" you said, smiling at him. You knew how much he hated horror movies. Unlike you, he preferred the chick flicks like Love Actually or The Notebook. “Really, babe?” he said, his expression devastated. You laughed, poking his cheek with your finger. “Oh, Harold. It’s not that bad, trust me,” you told him, dragging him by his wrist to the living room, where you put on The Innkeepers and sat next to him on the couch, laughing at his terrified face each time a scary scene came on. He ended up hiding behind you and covering his eyes with your hair the whole time.

Zayn: ”Oh, come on, boo!” he said, but you sat there on the bed with your arms crossed. “It’s not that scary, I promise!” he claimed, holding up The Exorcist in its DVD box. It seemed that whatever you did, he managed to convince you to sit with him and watch the movie. “Zayn, please,” you begged, trying to pull him back into the bedroom, where you two had been playing Pictionary. Even though he would win every time, it still amused you to look at his wonderful drawings. “Hey, you agreed!” he said, throwing you over his shoulder and sitting you down on the couch. You covered your eyes with your hands, deciding not to remove them throughout the movie. “Come on, (Y/N), it’ll be fun! Please look,” he said, kissing your cheek. “Fine,” you said, removing your shaky hands from your eyes, only to be welcomed by a picture of a possessed woman. You shrieked and hid your face in Zayn’s neck, feeling his chuckles as they vibrated through his body. “I’m going to get you…” you muttered, still trying to console yourself from the sight you had seen.
